   I have a Chihuahua whose trachea collapses…is a progressive respiratory condition. This product used alone is not effective because the problem is that his bronchial tubes are constricted…however, once I use his bronchial dilatator medication ( if he still coughs) I give him a dose of this Heat Syrup, his cough quiets immediately! Note, for the record, I never give medications together…I space out to prevent chemical reactions.

   So I will buy it again when I run out. Thank You whoever made it…keeps my pooch comfortable 🙂
   As time progressed, coedine cough worked the best… turned out Heart was enlarged pushing against airways… recommend x-ray to determine cause. Another thing that works really well… Children’s Benedryl… check w vet for dosage… Walgreens sells the sugar-dye-free kind

   My Chihuahua was diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. After several medications,the cough just got worse.All night long,she would cough,and I would feel so bad for her.It got to the point where we considered putting her out of her misery,which just broke my heart .I was reading about your product,and it was my last ditch effort to help my little girl.after the third day,I noticed she was not coughing as much,now she gets a little bit every day,and only coughs when she chases the birds outside. thank you so much for saving her life for a bit longer.its a miracle syrup.

   I’m a bit afraid to say that this works for my dog’s chronic cough, because I don’t want to jinx it! My poor dog has been coughing night and day for the past year. Four trips to our vet with a variety of meds and nothing worked. It’s not a collapsed trachea or kennel cough. Just a chronic cough that goes on and on. Anyway, I tried this product and while the dog still coughs, his periods of silence are more frequent and last longer. What a blessing for the dog and us! I tear off a piece of bread and put this liquid on it and he eats it. He likes it. I use it four times a day right now, but if he improves then I’ll cut back to two or three times a day. I was impressed that this uses Chinese herbs. The Chinese know their herbal medicines!

   I have to just say that this stuff REALLY WORKS! my 15 year old Yorkie has a heart murmur and has been suffering from trachea collapse. He wheezes, gags, has the honking cough literally all the time. Even while sleeping, his breathing was labored, I could see his belly kind of convulsing. He would then wake up gagging and honking. I felt so bad for him. The vet that I’ve had for years, wanted to charge me $1500+ to just do some testing to see what kinds of meds to give him. I’ve already spent tons of money on tests for the heart murmur. There is no cure so spending all kinds of money on tests is ridiculous. For what? to put him on all kinds of expensive meds that just sedate him? So I read some reviews on this on decided to try it out. I saw improvement immediately, and after a couple of weeks, I must say that I am VERY happy with this product. I was giving him a lot of CBD Vet oil which seemed to help some but is kind of expensive and after so much of it, he would spit some of it up. I have totally stopped giving him the CBD oil and now I only give him this Hound Honey Syrup (Phlegm-Heat) mixed with Trachea Support powder – I do have to give it to him twice a day (package says up to 3-4 times a day is good) it is kind of sticky as it is honey so I dilute with a tsp of hot water and my dog loves the stuff. I was using a dropper to put the mixture in his mouth and it was making a bit mess but now he just licks it up out of a bowl. He still has a little coughing fit here and there but you can tell the difference. It’s not that wet, loud honking noise but more of a little cough and he is sleeping though the night with no problems AT ALL. It’s not a cure, there isn’t one but this is the best remedy I have found so far. I can tell he is much happier and not struggling so much all the time. I am placing my second order ASAP. I don’t give a lot of reviews, but this is important. I researched and saw that this is a huge issue and folks are looking for relief for there beloved pets.

   After the coco and Luna throat syrup was no longer available I thought I’d give this a try. At first it seemed to have no effect at all so I tried another stoppel of it and the dog just got worse. Added water to an old bottle of the cocoa and Luna shook it up gave it to the dog immediately stopped coughing. Can’t imagine plain honey and water would be any worse than this very poor product, a complete waste of money… I would have given it zero stars but it wouldn’t let me

   Didn’t work for my dog. Have tried several things in addition to taking him to the vet but he is still coughing. Don’t know if I would fault the cough syrup. He may have other issues due to his age. But it was worth trying.

   I have a 15 year old Tea Cup Yorkie Terrier and over the years she has developed collapsed trachea. There is nothing we can do about it and our poor baby has chronic loud coughs and sounds like she can’t catch her breath. I decided to try this syrup (in addition to the herbal trachea support from paw healers) and we love the honey!! She really doesn’t cough as much and she feels a lot better too. She wants to go on hour long walks since she feels better/can breathe, whereas before she could barely last 15 minute walk. I think the honey works better than the herbal, but it could be different for each dog. My dog loves the honey and takes it very easily since it tastes good. Will buy again
