The inside of the bottle was covered in yellow sticky oil. Either one of the gel capsules ruptured or the oil seeped through the capsules. I tried rinsing them in a strainer but the oil was too sticky and turned my fingers yellow. I gave up and was going to return them, but this retailer doesn’t accept returns! I’ve never had a problem with Now products and I’ve been ordering them regularly for nearly 10 years. I suspect the product was allowed to get too hot somewhere along the line.
I assume they work…how does one tell?
I take this vitamin for one reason: It is one of the most complete multivitamins I can buy at some reasonable price. It doesn’t upset my stomach or have any negative effects. It is not a small capsule, but I have no trouble taking it every morning. I recommend it.
These don’t have any offensive taste or cons. I can swallow two caps at the same time with water. The ingredients list is some of the best I’ve seen out of all the multivitamin options available. It’s difficult to find a multi that has highly respectable ingredients list and this brand is basically one of the very few I would approve specifically for a multi.
For some reason multivitamins are much more difficult to find with a respectable ingredients list than the other supplements.
This will likely be my primary multi for some years at least. I’m always looking for the best and I make sure to pay attention to detail and do my due diligence.

I’ve had prostate problems for a while an have been taking saw palmetto to control it an it works wonders. But taking four capsules twice a day is a pain (not as much of a pain as peeing only a tablespoon every twenty minutes, but when you get older your choices diminish). I purchased these vitamins as an alternative to vitamins AND supplements. I now only take one of these every morning instead of the multivitamin AND saw palmetto. A month in now and I’m feeling great. No more evening pills and just one morning pill instead of several. I will be purchasing these for a long time now. Now if I can control that peeing three times during the night thing…
Oh, and to all of you young men who can pee a gallon with the force to blast through ice…enjoy it now, it does stop (pun intended).
Like many reviewers, I started this because it was one of the most complete men’s multivitamins on the market. Also, like many, in 2024 I received my subscribe-and-save shipment in the spring/summer heat and opened to see some ruptured – and more “seeped” when carrying them on my person.
Fast forward a few weeks to an email to NOW customer service: They politely asked for a batch number from the bottle and offered a refund before receiving the batch number. They had a supplier issue with the capsule manufacturers that allowed the capsule to seep out the liquids inside when warmed/heated. IT APPEARS THE CAPSULE ISSUE HAS BEEN ADDRESSED. My most recent bottle has been trouble-free.
I’ve been taking the Adam supplements for a couple of years. My personal experience is positive; I think they help.
