This item is a 16oz jar of zinc oxide powder. Included is a small scooper. This is a non-nano version so it is not going to be absorbed by the skin. I use it to make my own sunscreen. I typically use some shea oil, coconut oil, a little beeswax, some avocado oil, some lavender essential oil to make up my sunscreen. You can search the internet to find a recipe that suits your needs. You can use zinc oxide powder to make all sorts of other products from deodorant to face cream. The quality of this zinc oxide power seems very good. I do use a mask when using the powder to ensure I don’t breath any in. I think the price point is quite reasonable. I am pleased with this zinc oxide powder.

I’ve been using this for a few months now to make my own sunscreen, diaper rash cream, anti acne and a barrier for scrapes.
It’s pretty simple to use. I just mix it with oil (refined cold pressed coconut, jojoba, shea butter, olive oil, hempseed oil or any other you prefer or apply it as needed. As sunscreen it’s good for protecting skin especially on days when the UV rays are strong. I like that it’s non-nano and uncoated, so I feel more confident about using it on my skin. When mixing zinc oxide powder with untreated oils, it’s recommended to use high-polarity emollients like cocoglycerides or dibutyl adipate to create a uniform dispersion.
