My kid has a peanut and egg white allergy and so these protein bars are fairly slim pickins. Luckily, he tried this bar and it’s a good thing he likes oreo cookies because this one he’ll eat. I’m super happy about this. As for me, I was curious and tasted it and it tastes like any other Cliffbar or sweet protein bar out in the market. Overall, if my kid can consume safely than I’ll keep getting this one because there aren’t any other options available.

I love these bars, I was not sure if I would like them but they are delicious.
I was afraid they might be too sweet but they are not at all.
They have a really nice coco taste to them.
the coco taste is not really sweet and it reminds me of the Japanese kit-kat bars.
I was also afraid that the oats and the chocolate would bother me since I have IBS but these don’t bother me at all.
They are really addictive, I keep opening one and telling myself I will just eat half and end up finishing the whole thing.
They also have a really nice texture and they are not too hard or gritty but they have nice gooey crunch.
The texture reminds me of a rice krispie treat.
The white chocolate or cream portion is also not too sweet and has a nice flavor and texture.
These make a great quick late night snack and are also great on the go.

These were a big hit in my house. My 5-year-old and husband loved them. As far as protein bars, you can still tell it has the slight chalky, protein powder taste, but the other flavors help overcome that. I don’t know if I would choose these over some other non-protein bars, but it would be a good choice specifically for protein bars. The taste has my husband interested in the other flavors of this brand now and I will look into getting more for snacks for our son. Overall, a good choice if you are looking for protein bars and you enjoy cookies & cream flavor.
