It is organic, and not gritty (like some reviews have said). Currently we use it on my dog’s rough elbows and our overworked dried out human hands; working well and would buy again.

Please don’t ever change this castor oil butter it is so perfect. I love the pure ingredients. it’s so hard to find anything like this. In fact, I’ve not found anything like it. I scoop a little on my hands add a couple drops of my favorite oil and apply it keeps my skin smooth and soft like nothing other. Two ingredients that’s all that’s in it! It’s perfect absolutely perfect just the way it is! 🥰🩷😍

It doesn’t have much of a smell and what smell there is, it’s a natural one, like Shea butter and castor oil, and even that fades away after a few minutes. I personally like that it does not have any fragrance added. I am a jewelry metalsmith and also do stained glass. There’s not much out there that really helps my hands become soft after a day in the studio but this did the trick with just one application! I received my order today and I am so happy with it! Yes it’s a stiff cream, but I scraped a tiny bit out of the jar with the back of my finger nail and rubbed it in my palms to warm it, then it spreads great all over my hands. It’s not greasy and my rough hands are now smooth! I love, love, love it!

I absolutely love this Casor Oil/Shea Butter body butter! It offers the benefits of Castor Oil without being too sticky, and the shea butter makes it more spreadable. I also love that there are only two ingredients and not many weird chemicals or preservatives. It is a little oily when you first put it on, but I don’t find it sticky at all. This is a great body butter if you are looking to get the benefits of castor oil.

I usually purchase this brand’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil Butter which I love. Decided to try this one. Has a slight gritty feel but overall does a great job on my skin. The jar is small and the price is TOO HIGH. It’s probably half the size of the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Butter but cost $1 less. Both are overpriced and both have increased in price (one more than once) since my first purchase. Although nice. It is very pricy. I like the smoothness of this product’s Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Butter better but just not happy with the prices of either. Product is good though. 3-star is for price and slight grittiness in product. I can only imagine anyone trying the product will love it.

I don’t use any over the counter lotions because of all the chemicals in it. I live in California where my skin is very dry and I couldn’t live without this! All
Natural ingredients and hydrates my skin very well.

Unfortunately the ingredients were not fully combined and the product I received is slimy and gritty. When applied to the skin it would be less messy to use straight castor oil. Absorption and clean up is therefore also problematic. I had higher hopes for this ‘butter’.
