You get a mega dose of supplements from the fish oil. Easy to ingest softgels and did not have fishy after tastes. A bit pricier than what is available at about $30 for the 90 softgels which is about a 45 day supply.

Arrived sealed in the package with good safety seals on the jar. Capsules were all intact inside, no breakage or loose powder floating around the jar. The capsules were odorless and tasteless and were easy to swallow.
Plenty of time left on the expiration date. Had enough info available on the manufacturer for me to trust it. Seems like a good option for this supplement.

These are easy to swallow and I don’t have any complaints about them. I have slightly higher than normal cholesterol and I am hopeful that these supplements help me control this. I am glad that they are not very fishy.

I have been taking fish oil for over12 years. The softgels in this product are a similar size to other fish oil supplements, and did not upset my stomach. The total for EPA + DHA is about half of my doctor’s recommendation, so I would need to take two servings of this supplement to get my recommended amount. The 50 mcg (equivalent to 2,000 IU) of Vitamin D3 works well with my supplementation plan. The bottle I received was appropriately sealed, and had an expiration date 11 months later than I received it. The capsules did not have a strong flavor, though the bottle itself has a strong smell to it each time it is opened.
The biggest concern I have for this supplement is that there is no mention of any purification process to remove heavy metals, PCBs, and other toxins from the fish oil. There is also no mention of third-party testing to ensure that the supplement is free of mercury and other toxins. The supplement is made from tuna, and it is not specified that the tuna is wild-caught, leaving the possibility that the tuna is farm-raised. Consumers would do well to check for purification processing and third-party testing when comparing this product to other fish oil supplements.

I know I need to take Omega 3 every day, but sometimes I slack off. I take Vitamin D3 daily, but during the winter in particular, it’s a good idea to increase the dose. Both of these supplements are included in “Omega 3 Platinum+D” from Zahler.
The gelatin capsules are large, similar to most Omega 3 capsules. The inside of the bottle has a pleasant lemon scent, perhaps to minimize any fish odor. The recommended dose is 2 soft gels per day. I usually take a smaller dose, so I take only one capsule daily.
So, per each capsule, you’ll get 25 mcg of Vitamin D3, 1,000 mg of fish oil (from tuna), 300 mg of EPA, 200 mg of DHA, and 550 mg of total Omega 3. I didn’t have any trouble swallowing the capsules and I don’t get unpleasant side effects (like burping up a fish taste).
As one of the reviewers pointed out, the fish oil is sourced from tuna rather than sardines or anchovies, but tuna is also a fatty, cold-water fish that’s high in Omega 3s. Each bottle contains 90 soft gels, so if you take the recommended dose, it’s a 45-day supply. (For me, it will last 90 days.)
Zahler is a known, trusted, and Kosher brand, so it might be just what you’re looking for.

Zahler is a brand I’m very familiar with so I was happy to try out their Omega 3 supplement. These are reasonably potent soft gels — 1000mg of fish oil (300mg EPA, 200mg DHA) plus 25 mcg of vitamin D (125% daily value) in one large-size soft gel. While they describe a serving size as two soft gels, I think the dose from a single soft gel is more than enough so will be how I will be taking these. Combining vitamin D and Omega 3 in one supplement is an excellent idea as studies have shown that fish oil helps increase absorbency of the vitamin D.
Five stars, as long as you don’t mind the larger-size soft gel (there are brands where you take twice as many half-size soft gels and I generally prefer that for ease of swallowing).

I like taking these. I regularly take Fish Oil supplements, and I had a seamless transition to this brand.
Positives:

Negatives:
-The only possible negative…two times I put the soft gel in my mouth and took a few seconds to get my water. Possibly the soft gel started to dissolve a little, and the oil just started to leak out of the soft gel. I simply swallowed it all. No big deal. I like these soft gels better than traditional soft gel casings. In the future, I’ll just make sure I have my water handy before taking.

Overall, I like them.

The fish oil pills are working fine. I haven’t had any fishy burps when taking them after a meal. Since each pill has 1000 mg of fish oil, they are on the large end of the normal range of sizes for fish oil pills. Good product!
