Sometimes my son has trouble sleeping so I gave these a shot. Takes about 30 min and ill notice the little man start nodding off. Works pretty good imo. The bottles are small it’s only 10 per bottle so 30 in total. (Imo it should be 30 in 1 bottle. 3 bottles is a waste of packaging…but thats besides the point.) That still lasts for quite a while though. He doesn’t take them every night. Just when he’s wide awake at bed time.

Zahler 1MG Children’s Melatonin comes with 10 tablets per bottle and 3 bottles. So the total is 30. The bottles are very underfilled per size. I know powders do that that in terms of settling, but not sure why these are filled this way. My kids did not mind the grape taste, they actually thought it was decent. The Stevia taste is not what they enjoyed. There should be more transparency on the listing for the ingredients. The Stevia was not necessary.

Pros: Candy-like flavor was appreciated. Appeared to help establishing a regular sleep pattern. Seemed to help with “winter blues.”
Cons: More of a sampler pack than a “regular supply” which isn’t enough for a full evaluation, and why I gave this four stars.
Subjectively, this did appear to help get everyone back on a healthier sleep schedule (emphasis on appear). In my humble opinion, do the research and consult a pediatrician before giving a child an OTC supplement. There are pros and cons and every case likely needs to be judged individually. Particularly if supporting “neurodivergent” types.

We use melatonin only occasionally for times of serious sleep disruption. These work well! I like that they’re not a gummy because I don’t really prefer to give gummies right at bed time, these are much less sticky to the teeth.

Sometimes melatonin is “overpowered”. Users of various melatonin products will know what I mean. 1mg is not always the same all the way around. This feels mild enough and also does the job–exactly what you want! The only thing that’s weird is putting it in three tiny bottles of 10 each vs. 30 in one bottle. Don’t know why they did that, but it is not a detriment to the product itself!

They took 2 weeks to arrive which is pretty darn slow for any Amazon seller.
The taste is grape but kind of sour, and they are hard and don’t melt in you mouth like other chewable melatonin supplements I have tried.
Not sure why there are only 10 in a bottle (x 3 bottles). Waste of packaging. Even with all 30 combined into one bottle, the container is not even 1/5 full.
At the end of the day (pun intended), it is melatonin and works like any similar product should.

It’s hard to find 1 mg melatonin tablets or gummis marketed toward adults, as those are mostly in the 5-10 mg range. I therefore find myself often using children melatonin because it’s in the low dosage I prefer to take.
I’ve used this for a week or so and it’s fine. The tablet is very small, and has an intense grape flavor. It’s a bit crunchy but then again, I’m used to gummis or dissolvable tablets. This is something you need to chew. It seems to affect me the same as other brands in that dosage.
But why package it in 3 bottles of 10 tablets each? I can think of no good reason and it’s a tremendous waste of packaging. The first thing I did was consolidate them all into one bottle, where they easily fit with room for more. Such a waste.

If you are traveling with young children over the holidays, especially between states and time zones, they are going to get jet lagged and tired right along with you. Junior Melatonin is a 1mg chewable melatonin tablet that may be able to help children adjust to a new time zone if taken at bedtime (with doctor’s approval).
Melatonin may help the body to relax and reduce the amount of time it takes to fall asleep. It is generally considered safe to use as an occasional sleep aid since it doesn’t have addictive properties or cause next day morning grogginess. It’s commonly available for adults in 3mg-10mg strengths.
The Zahler 1mg chewable tablet is small and grape flavored, not too hard for children to chew up and swallow. Before using, I would check with a medical professional to make sure the 1mg dose is appropriate to take based on your child’s age and weight.
Otherwise, these are convenient little travel size bottles, perfect for packing in a carryon bag, with only 10 tablets per bottle.
