The packaging was attractive and they were easy to swallow. No fishy aftertaste or burps. But for the price, I wouldn’t buy them again. Same ingredients as less expensive omega supplements, in a smaller package for twice as much. Bougie – yes. Practical – no.

I take fish oil/omega 3 for joint pain and joint health caused by inflammation. This brand has a good dose of the fish oil, 1746 mg and Omega 3, 1340 mg, with two caps per day as the suggested dosage. The bottle contains a 30 day supply which make the cost a bit expensive in my opinion at just under $50 per bottle. There is no after taste which is common these days as manufacturers improve their products. It’s too early to tell if there are any physical improvements from taking this supplement but there are no adverse reactions at all.

I’m including the item name as a matter of course to guard against review hijacking, although I don’t think it’s necessary in this case.
This is a “burpless” fish oil supplement that immediately stands out from most others in its presentation. Supplements that actually have an unboxing experience and competent, attractive graphic design for the box and labeling are relatively rare. That the manufacturer would give something as mundane as fish oil this treatment amuses me, but I’ll also admit that it makes an excellent first impression. That is, after all, the whole point.
Whether the better-than-big-brand quality thus implied by the packaging carries over to the product itself isn’t a question I can answer without the services of an analytical laboratory, but at least it seems that it does. With fish oil in particular, “fish burps” are always a sign of poor oil quality, since “burpless” formulations depend on a high-quality, low-odor starting oil and the addition of limonene (lemon oil) to effectively mask any residual odor that made it through the manufacturing process. Unlike some others I’ve tried, this fish oil might not need the added limonene. You also get a bit of Vitamin D3, which is appropriately dosed here to make a difference if you’re deficient in Vitamin D3 (most of us are) without harming anything if you aren’t.
Whether the relatively high price for something as mundane as fish oil is justified in this case depends on your perspective and your trust in the manufacturer. The argument that this product contains more fish oil than others is unconvincing by itself; fish oil isn’t exactly dangerous stuff, and having to take an extra capsule or two of a competitor’s offering to match doses won’t hurt you. But it’s also not unreasonably high, assuming that two things are true. First, the quality of the source fish oil actually is as good as it seems. Second, only a serious supplement company that’s doing all the right things would pay so much attention to presentation.
