The bright color helps me be sure that if the dog I’m medicating doesn’t finish her food, the pills have been in the part she did…Other duller colors would get lost in the food and I couldn’t be sure. It’s easier to pick it out of wet food and try a different food if she turns down a little hand treat with the pill in it. They are sturdy enough that they don’t easily glue themselves shut if there is a little humidity, as you can gently twist the halves apart like a jar/jar lid. They are big enough to allow several nasty-tasting little pills like prednisone in one capsule, but not so huge she can’t swallow them or would notice them in her food. If I have to divide the pills, I can use a different color for some, so I know which set got swallowed by the color of the remainder. Not the cheapest, and a small dog might need a smaller size, but I am satisfied…These would work for tumeric, herbs, etc., too, as they are not too big to swallow 1-2 at a time…flavorless….will buy again.

These are great. They snap together well.. very secure. They are a tiny bit larger than I thought, next time I’ll size down one size. Use them for Cbd and really great for that.

I recently began taking kratom for a chronic pain condition, but couldn’t stand the taste. I bought one of those Capsule Machines elsewhere, and started making my own pills, instead. There was a bit of trial and error, learning how to use the machine, and finding capsules that worked for me. The first capsules I got were a gift from a friend, and I couldn’t find that brand online, anymore. I tried two other brands before this one, and both had pretty significant issues.
With the standard 24-slot capsule machine, I couldn’t get the first brand full enough to keep them from being too full of air to easily swallow. Definitely a no go. The second brand I tried would fill most of the way up, but they were flimsy and weak, and I didn’t make a single batch that didn’t have some split or crushed capsules. Aside from being a huge mess and waste of money, this was problematic because tiny shards of the broken capsule would fall into the kratom powder and be hard to separate out.
These were my third try, and I’m pretty pleased with them. They don’t have either of the issues I’ve encountered before, and I think this brand has other color choices and various quantity bags available. They’re easy to fill, easy to swallow, and sturdy. My only complaint is a minor inconvenience. I’d much prefer to have the tops and bottoms of the capsules packaged separately, just for ease of use. Otherwise, this would be a five star review.
So, I’m off to see if they offer any which are packaged that way!

I used the product to make placenta pills after having my last baby. Easy to swallow. They are the perfect size. There were left over capsules after filly my whole placenta in them.
