It definitely thins secretions like any guaifenesin liquid, but the taste is just vile. It tastes like artificial cherry, bubblegum, and mint all in one. By the way, this is a thin liquid, not a syrup. I also noticed that it is hard to pour without spilling, perhaps because of the low viscosity.

This works well. I’m glad to have it without all the other cough suppressants and decongestants. I try to stay away from artificial sweeteners. I would rather have just sugar.

Doctor wanted us to get the liquid form verses a pill. This works much better than the time released pill when you have lots of flem to deal with. This is the second bottle I have ordered. Taste, not so much. But it does say to drink water with it, so it washes away the taste.

I’ve taken bad tasting medicine before, but this was the worst I’ve ever tried.
This may be as effective as other guaifenesin products for dealing with mucus and congestion, but the taste was so overwhelmingly strong and burning, I couldn’t stand taking it, and ended up dumping it down the drain.
I definitely don’t recommend this brand, and won’t be buying it again.

Tried this because Tussin with just the guiafinesin is now hard to find and afford. But the taste is absolutely vile and makes me cringe. I dread taking it. It is much thinner than Tussin, and with the menthol goes down throat very roughly rather smooth and soothing. Doesn’t feel like I’m getting the same quick level of relief either. It would be a more usable product without the overwhelming menthol.

This is the best expectorant out there. It’s the same main ingredient in Mucinex, without all the stuff that makes you sleepy. It’s just great expectorant.
