So, firstly, I must comment on the amazing shipping. I received this package really quickly. It was shipped to my address within 3 business days and I really loved how quickly it shipped to my mailing address so that’s one thing. Another thing is that I haven’t tried this batch that I received as yet but I purchased it for a reason; I have already tried this medicine when I was around 16 years old & I am 21 years old now and when I was 16, I had visited Canada and I had came down with a bad case of the flu. Now normally, I don’t get sick often but when I DO get sick, I am sick for a really long time. I am usually sick for up to a month and a half and no matter how much Vitamin C or prescription drugs I take, I am STILL sick for that period of time every single time. I remember taking this when I was really sick in Canada because my Aunt had a free bottle and decided to give it to me. I swear… I Thank God for this “Magic Potion” because this is exactly what it is. I took about 3 doses or so of this and I felt better within a WEEK !! I kid you not. Alright, so I bought the Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup because, well, my kids and I are switching to a new school and I’m not ready to deal with the snot-nosed germ invasion that comes with public school. I’m trying to keep the sniffles at bay, so we’re doing whatever we can to stay healthy and avoid the “back-to-school plague.”
This stuff actually tastes pretty good (which is a win in my book when you have picky kids). I’ve been giving it to the girls in the morning, and bonus, they haven’t complained about it. I even take a little myself, cause let’s be real, I don’t need to be sick either while juggling this chaos. It’s like a little immunity shield in a bottle, and so far, it seems to be doing the trick.
I’m crossing my fingers that we stay ahead of the germs, but hey, at least we’re stocked up on the good stuff. Worth every penny to hopefully avoid the misery of sick days (and the mountain of tissues). 10/10 would recommend to every tired mom trying to keep their crew healthy!
