Normally I love a nice tub of body butter. I had high hopes for this one and it was a huge disappointment. I was a little surprised at how expensive it was but I figured it must be pretty great for that price. Not at all. It’s like they went and got some super cheap lotion from the Dollar Store and just poured it in a nice looking container and put it in an attractive box. It’s way too greasy and doesn’t come even close to the texture I expect from a true body butter. And then theirs the scent. I didn’t like it at all. It reminded me again, of the types of cheap lotions you get that have really cloying artificial scents. I was so unimpressed with this stuff that I ended up throwing it away.

This is more of a body lotion as it is thicker. The smell is very nice and it works as a hand lotion for me. It is pretty moisturizing but does not stand out in any way from most other lotions.

I rate this body butter as 3 stars because it made my skin feel hydrated and smooth, plus it had a nice, non-overpowering scent. I actually thought the cream was organic and natural, so I had to review the product page and, in one of the pictures, I could somewhat make out the ingredients to confirm that’s not the case. I really wish it only had natural ingredients because I am trying to get away from less favorable ones like petrolatum, so I won’t be able to continue using it.

From the moment I opened the jar, I was greeted with a delightful, light scent that wasn’t overpowering. The texture of the body butter is incredibly smooth and whipped to perfection, making it easy to apply and quick to absorb into my skin.

I really like the scent of this – cucumber/melon. I’ve never tried a body butter before and I love how it comes in a tub. It’s so easy to get the right amount on your fingertips and then blend into your skin. This does go on more like a sunscreen and it takes awhile to absorb into your skin. Since starting to use this, I’ve noticed that my face is much softer and smoother (not usually a regular lotion user). It seemed a bit pricey but this container will last a long time just using it on my face and arms. A little bit goes a long way!

The presentation of this body butter is very nice. It come in a nice box and pretty container. I love the cherry blossom scent. 🌸 The scent is very light not over powering at all. I removed one star because this is more of a lotion than a body butter. The consistency is much thiner than a body butter. It also has an oily finish to it, I like this so it not a problem for me. I mostly use this on my hand and they stay mosturized for a good amount of time. 🧴
