It’s a great idea to have a low-macro protein powder for kids, who are not going to need 25mg per serving, but could, in many cases, supplement those chicken nuggets with just a little extra. Unfortunately, while our family liked the concept, the execution here was lacking – it just tastes bad. “Watermelon” means sour to this company, and it delivers on the sour. It also delivers on chemical aftertaste and artificial sweetener, an it doesn’t mix well without using a blender or shaker cup – two items I don’t think you entrust to kids lightly. Mom, dad, and daughter tried it, and it wasn’t for any of us.

We have tried a couple flavors of the Everest Essential protein now, and recently got the watermelon…my kid loves the taste! He got so excited when he saw the box come in the mail! He goes through phases where he doesn’t eat much or is being picky, and it’s very comforting for me to be able to have this as a healthy option to help get the nutrition he needs…And he actually likes it! It’s also a great, quick option when we’re running around to all of the things!

These mix extremely well and the taste is okay for a protein mix. I can’t give any real review based off the fact that my 2 year old doesn’t not drink it, as i had intended to use it.

These on the go watermelon protein packets have been great to have on hand in the diaper bag when the kids are hungry. It mixes well in their bottles!

I decided to give these a shot because some days my daughter does not get enough protein. Occasionally, she will have a protein shake, but usually does not want one. She tried the Everest Essentials and liked the mix and flavor. That makes me happy as a parent. My only complaint it the price. They are more expensive than the premade protein drinks that I buy. I will still buy them on occasion, but they won’t be a part of her regular routine at the current price. Good product, just a little pricey.

We just tried the Watermelon flavor and love it!! It’s so easy to mix into water and I love that my son is getting grass fed whey protein which is so much easier for kids to digest. I’m so glad I found this kids protein powder, it is convenient and my kids love it! They actually think it is a treat and enjoy shaking it up to make it. It gives me a lot of peace of mind, knowing that my children are getting 8 g of protein with 0 g of sugar, and No gmo. Typically, my boys an eat a carb heavy diet with not enough fish or meat but lately I have been sending them to school and their sports games with a water bottle full of Everest essential and it always comes back empty and they are asking for more!
