I’ve never personally tried a nasal rinse or netipot. My husband had used the netipot in the past and he didn’t like it because according to him he was getting sudden squirts of water into his nose and it felt really bad. So when I got sick recently and needed some extra help with clearing my nose, I decided to look for a netipot but with a bit of twist and I found this product.
First, I like that it’s an angle. You don’t need to play twister with the bottle in order to get the job done.
Second, I like that it has a nose piece for adults and children. Like I had mentioned before, I have never done a nasal rinse so I was nervous to find out how much pressure the nose piece would have so I tried the kids first. Once I got comfortable with that I went with the adults. There is a difference in pressure between the two but it’s comfortable.
Third, you don’t actually have to “squirt” the bottle up your nose. It has a little button on the bottom of the bottle, so whenever you’re getting ready rinse, you can slowly press down on it and it’ll slowly release the water. Once you’ve gotten accustomed to the pressure you can press all the way down and be on your way to better breathing.
Fourth, it has a temperature “meter”. It let’s you know if the water is too hot/warm. Which really helps because I would’ve probably burned my nostrils a few times if it were for that.
Conclusion, overall it’s a really easy product to use. The packets that it comes with are great. The amount of pressure the bottle has is perfect. It really got all the gunk out.

I got this to help with my allergy symptoms and was surprised at the lack of thorough instructions for this, considering its medical use. The steps are easy enough to follow, but even ignoring the broken English in some steps, it lacks crucial information such as:
– how to clean the individual parts (is it dishwasher safe? can you use tap water to wash it out or should you stick to the prepared water?)
– why you should use distilled or boiled, NOT straight tap or spring water (it can lead to infection)
– how to use the temperature sticker, or for that matter why the range of temperatures marked “safe” on the sticker are not the same as the instructions
– how to safely heat water (is the bottle microwave safe or should the water be heated in another container?)
So while I can’t bash the product itself (there’s very little setup, as it’s just a plastic bottle with a nozzle on the lid) I’m put off by the lack of safety information.

I’m not very good at sticking things in my nose and had a hard time doing the nasal irrigation after a rhinoplasty. If you got one, you definitely need this because it was so easy to use and it even tells you the temperature of your water and if it’s too hot or cold and it controls the amount of flow coming out of the bottle it’s perfect.

I have never used a nasal wash before, always thought it was “icky”, however nasal congestion made me rethink. I love it! This product is very easy to use and cleans my nasal passages. The size is convenient, water flow is strong and the price is perfect. The only thing that stopped me for giving it 5 stars was the temperature sticker. My sticker did not work, not a big problem, just use common sense.

I’ve never used any product like this. I was a bit apprehensive to squirt salt water up my nose. However, my nose is stuffed up and I’ve had sinus issues for years.
I unwrapped the products and read the directions. Pretty easy. Get s bottle of sealed water and slightly heated it up to warm temperature. Now it’s was time for the squirting. Wasn’t bad at all. A tiny bit messy with small spillage and I tasted a tiny bit of salt water. Maybe my head wasn’t tilted enough?
Afterwards, I wiped my mouth and blew my stuffed nose. I must admit I felt much better afterwards. Going try to do this once a day.
My first time experience was positive.

Great sinus rinsing bottle. So much cheaper and less cumbersome to clean than the Nettie Pot. This is simple and easy and inexpensive but does a great job.
