I used this on my daughters dark blonde hair which has natural bright blonde hilites/ money pieces throughout and this product matched the darker blonde to the bright blonde money pieces exactly. We were so impressed! I guess it depends on your hair but our goal was a slick back braided side pony like Elsa for Halloween but my daughter wanted her hair brighter blonde instead of the ugly wigs. It looks like this will accomplish what we wanted. The application was so easy and blended right in perfectly. I wish I took a before photo but we were just testing it out and didn’t want to waste it. I will take a before and after photo when I do her whole head. We also tried the brands you spray, no where near as good as this one and the sprays aren’t easy to control like this one. Obviously this product is meant for roots or touching up hilites, but for my daughter I’m able to match her natural bright blonde pieces and brighten her entire hair. Because it will be a slick back pony and braid style I only have to colour the top but it matched amazing. I’ll post a before and after photo when we do the whole head but I’m certain it will work. Literally one swipe and I was like 😮 wow. Perfect match. So if you have dirty blonde hair with natural money pieces and want more, this should work for you! Highly recommended! I never wrote a review so fast. Now I want one for myself!

I recently switched over to powdered dry shampoo, from using dry shampoo spray. I tried multiple that claimed it didn’t leave white casting on “dark hair” I’m pretty sure their version of dark hair is dark blonde. My hair is very dark the darkest of brown, it looks black outside of the sunlight. I want to continue to use the dry shampoo for its function but the powder actually makes me look like I’m starting to grey. Online the suggestion was to get coco powder and add it to my dry shampoo powder NO THANKS! So I used this powder after using the dry shampoo and it covered up any whiteness from the dry shampoo powder. I’m glad this doesn’t contain talcum and it’s a good price.

After spending 3X the price on various other popular root touch up products such as the color wow root touch up, this is by far my absolute favorite thing that works and does exactly what I need. You can’t beat the price, and I’ve ordered two already and had no issues with product being damaged during shipping which is an issue I’ve had with other companies. highly recommend!

This is my 3rd time purchasing. I Love how this product sets on scalp, and is long lasting. However I wish the sponge applicator had a better grip.

This product gives full coverage on its own, but it transfers to your hands or anything you put in your head (sunglasses, etc). However, I learned that if you lightly spray your problem areas that you want to cover with hairspray, then apply the root touch up, then lightly spray with hairspray again; it helps the root touch up not transfer onto anything. Make sure to comb through the hair sprayed areas afterward so you have a seamless blend!

I have very blonde hair and very dark roots. This worked like a champ. I was floored. I thought even if it’s works kinda it’s worth the price. But it did an amazing job lightening my roots. You should buy it.
