This is the best cleanser I have ever found for my acne prone, yet sensitive skin. The longer I use it, the more my skin improves. I won’t use anything else now and look forward to trying other products from VMV Hypoallergenics.

I’ve been using this for years. It is the only face wash that doesn’t cause me to break out in hives. It’s free from common allergens and botanicals, so a must have if you have super sensitive skin. My only challenge is this doesn’t completely get my makeup off like some others, so I have to use additional products like a pre-cleanse wash, oil, or makeup remover wipes ahead of using this.

This product looked promising, but when it arrived the box showed that the product had expired in February 2014 (I received it in July 2015). It seemed as if the product had been returned already and then shipped back out to me as the expiration date was highlighted in yellow marker. Too bad. I am discouraged and have moved on to try another brand.

I have very oily and acne prone skin and I have been looking for a cleanser that would work with my skin. I have tried expensive products containing Benzoyl Peroxide and Salicylic Acid to manage my skin problems but I always end up irritating my skin more. They might work temporarily but eventually they would make my skin more irritated thus, making me break out more. I tried this during this fall because my VMV glycerin soap was becoming too drying for the cold season (VMV’s glycerin soap always worked for me during the summer) and I was surprised how effective it is in managing my problematic skin. Needless to say, I was very happy with the results. This is definitely worth the price as the first one I purchased lasted 3 months. So far this is the only cleanser that works for me during fall and winter whereas all other facial cleansers(even the gentle ones such as cetaphil,neutrogena etc.) just over dry my skin and make my face produce more oil hence more breakouts for me. I would definitely stick to this cleanser for the cold season. Two thumbs up for this great product from VMV!
