    This dries out my facial skin compared to Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Face Cleanser, which I’ve been using for some time now. It does clean well, however.
    I originally got it as a body bar because charcoal is supposed to be a deodorizer. Time will tell if it works for this or not.

    It arrived and it had a fragrant smell to it and it does, however it’s likely part of the product as once you wash with its quite good and cleans incredibly well, leaves a slight scent and I’m a fan!

    I thought I was getting a “sweet deal” on Sea mud soap. However, it has a sickening overly sweet fragrance that I found nauseating. Donated unused bars to a Homeless shelter. I’m going back to my Erno Laszlo soap in spite of the price.

    **I just wanted to add that I am a 65-y.o. woman, so no acne; in fact, my skin tends to be dry. I use this once a day, followed by a moisturizer, and my skin looks and feels terrific.** Like some others who have posted reviews, I am suspicious of the origins of this item. It’s from China, so clearly not true Dead Sea Mud, and it doesn’t have the feel of REAL Dead Sea Soaps I’ve used in the past, and it doesn’t last nearly as long. BUT… it’s SO affordable, comparatively, and it is a nice soap, so I’m OK with it. Not sure, though, if I’ll buy it again. And one more thing — the shape is very odd for a soap. Like a large flat tile –? I cut mine in half and pressed the two pieces together to make it more soap-shaped and easier to use.
