I got this to combat dry eyes. I’m finding it helpful. When I mentioned I was taking this to my ophthalmologist, he said WASTE OF MONEY! These are for MACULAR DEGENERATION not dry eye!
I thought it was working, but decided to pass the word along. I notice this brand offers a blend specifically for macular support whereas I’m taking the tear support. Maybe I wasn’t clear which one I am taking?
For an omega 3 supplement, it tastes pretty good. That is, it has a neutral taste. That’s pretty good compared to fish oil. No burps! No nasty smell with these at all — unlike an algae based supplement I could mention!
Compared to quality fish oil omega 3 supplements (it is said the omega 3 fatty acid is what helps dry eye), these are pricey. For example, you can buy 120 Carlson omega 3 tablets for less money than 90 of these.
Still, it’s probably cheaper than eating the equivalent amount of fish.

Rxed. By my naturopath doc, but cheaper here. Works great, was surprised, took a couple of months ran out didn’t think it made any difference, but sure did. Have dry eye syndrome.
