One small tablet provides 1000 IU (125% DV) of Vitamin D3 (also known as cholecalciferol). If you take Magnesium supplements that don’t already contain Vitamin D3, most people recommend that you take them at the same time as magnesium helps boost absorption of Vitamin D3. These tablets are easy to swallow, no bad aftertaste, and a good value. Highly recommended!

This is a great supplement to add onto a multi if you’re in need of extra Vit D. I like that nothing else is added but it might have been nice to have at least Vit K which helps with D absorption.
This isn’t enough to help with low Vit D levels but would be great to use in conjunction with a multivitamin or help be a preventative. I need higher IUs per day due to a deficiency so I would have to take more than the recommended amount. But this would be good to use long term one I get my levels even.

My last Blood Work showed that I was low in Vitamin D. Instead of trying a one with an overwhelming amount of Vitamin D, I wanted to try this one with just the right amount to have the same effect of sunshine on me and get my body absorbing calcium and all the other benefits. Who knows is thousands of IU in Vitamin D per day could be causing some type of side effect? It didn’t sound natural for me to take 8000 IU or 10000 IU in one serving. These are nice and small, easy to swallow. The price is right. And I also like that this is not a new company in the market. I wouldn’t reviewing negatively of being 1000 IU. Guess what I’m going to do when I want 2000 IU or 3000 IU? You got it! Take 2 or 3.

I am always looking for Vitamin D supplements, as I am regularly deficient without them. These arrived securely packaged, with an intact over cap and under cap seal and cotton to protect the tablets. The tablets are on the small to medium size, around the size of your average Advil tablet. They seem to be coated, and I swallowed them with ease– great for those who have trouble with larger capsule style supplements. An easy way to get 1,000 IUD for those who need to maintain. All the information is clearly stated on the label. I would recommend to others.

I received “Pure Formulas Vitamin D3 1,000 IU 25 mcg – Premium Vitamin D Supplement for Healthy Bone Formation, Teeth, Cardiovascular Health, and Immune Support Non-GMO – 100 Count Tablets.” The bottle came with an exterior plastic seal that was very easy to remove. The inner seal was also surprisingly easy to pull off.
The amount of vitamin D per serving is quite small with these tablets. My normal supplement has 2500 IU per capsule, and my doctor has me take two. This supplement has only 1000 IU per tablet. So I need to take five of these per day, which means a bottle lasts me only 20 days. However, these are inexpensive, so I am not worried about it. Some people may prefer a small supplement if they get a lot of sun exposure.
These tablets are all white, with consistent shape and texture. The date of manufacture was only two months ago. I see no expiration date on the bottle. They are tablets, not capsules, but there are still several other ingredients in these tablets. The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silicone dioxide, purified water, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and vegetable glycerin. The exterior of these tablets is smooth, and they do not have any particular taste.
Overall, I am very happy with these tablets.
