I’ve used zahler products for years. The ingredient list is truly vegan (glycerin is plant form, dha is algae) the folate is bio available in its purest, most easily digestible and absorbed form, vs. folic acid. The mini used to be smaller but VERY round, it was actually HARD to swallow it! I know for a fact the new slimmer squishier pills are SO much better and easier to swallow and still so much smaller than regular prenatals or any multi. This was a choice made by zahler in the last year and revamped its product. NOT COUNTERFEIT. I kept reading that in the reviews and thought that was so stupid. I just had to write my own review. I’ve been taking the mighty mini since August 2019 though now I’m 9mo post partum (baby and pregnancy was extremely healthy and now pregnant again and still on my mini pill never missed a month). I’ve taken both shaped pills and both were excellent. I just like this one even more! Not to mention that amazing mint tab that sits in the bottle! No after taste, no fish burps, no nausea. THIRD BABY AND WILL ONLY TRUST ZAHLER. Also do your research and listed to the pregnancy podcast. She has the scientists from zahler on the pod.

TTC for my second child and wanted to try a smaller prenatal this time around (last time I took the large ones). I hate swallowing pills in general, so these have been so wonderfully easy to take every day. They have absolutely NO fish smell or taste or burps. There is a mint stick filler in the bottle to help absorb any fish smells. I researched a lot of prenatals before I found these and I love that you get a little of everything in one pill…DHA, selenium, biotin, and folate. Makes it so easy to take every day!

I’m a whimp when it comes to swallowing pills. But these are VERY easy to swallow! After a couple weeks of taking them, I even felt a positive difference. I also appreciate that these don’t have a crazy amount of biotin (which if you are acne-prone like me, can make breakouts worse). So it has had no negative impact on my skin. All around, these are a win for me. Will definitely repurchase.

These new and improved Mighty Minis are so great! I don’t even get the fishy after taste or the fish burp after eating these. They are very light on my stomach so its really good to know I can take these with an empty stomach! I like how they come with the mint insert so you dont smell or taste the vitamin. It makes it really easy to swallow. This is probably the size of one tylenol pill, if not then a tad smaller so its just super knowing this is not a horse pill! Ive been taking these for 2 years and will continue to take them!
Also, just want to point out in the subject when searching for this vitamin, it does come up as mighty mini but the description underneath it says information about cigarettes. Not sure if you want to fix that 🙂

I am taking these vitamins to ensure my body is healthy and in as good condition as it can be at my age. These pills are coated and an easy size to swallow – and they pack a punch as far as the nutrients they hold: along with 2000 IUs of vitamin D, the pills contain 100% of a Daily Value for vitamins B6, B12, C and E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, biotin, pantothenic acid, iron, iodine, zinc and copper. It also has calcium, magnesium, 50% DV of vitamin A, and 100 mg of docosahexaenoic acid (fish oil). The box says the vitamins are manufactured in the USA, but I was unsure of where the company sources the products used to make the vitamins. That was disappointing. Also, the vitamin stats as shown showed the percentage based on a daily value, and since it didn’t say who recommended these values, I don’t know what worth they have. Having said that, it also shows the contents as a quantified amount, i.e. IU, mg or mcg. I can go look these things up when I get around to it. I’d just rather have it spelled out for me.
The biggest downfall is the odor. The fishy smell is obvious when you open the bottle and even fairly pungent when taking a single pill (that could be residual from opening the bottle, but the smell is there nonetheless). For these downsides, minus one star. Overall, these mini vitamins give me loads of nutrients. I recommend them whether you’re pregnant or not – the nutrients are there.
Update: after four months, they still smell funny…but it gets less bothersome as time goes on. Since they was the thing that bothered me most, I figured I’d add the info.

(Reviewing from husband’s Amazon account) – I started off pre-pregnancy with gummy vitamins, since they taste better and people warned me I might feel nauseous taking vitamins in pill form. Once I realized that the gummy vitamins do not contain iron, I was looking for one in pill form.
After much research and reading many recommendations, this brand seems to have the best qualities/ingredients and the best value. The bottle lasts for 90 days, which makes the price worth it. Most other brands seem to only be a 30-60 day supply. The pills aren’t tiny, but they are definitely smaller than other multivitamins that I have taken in the past. They also contain omega-3 fatty acid (DHA) to support baby’s brain and eyes.
I’ve ordered two bottles so far – the second one came with a mint strip to make the pills taste better, but the first one did not. Some people have complained that the pills taste like fish without the mint strip, but I did not notice a fish taste. It just tasted like a normal multivitamin to me (I have been taking multivitamins all of my life). If you get sick from taking pill prenatals, I recommend taking them later in the day after you’ve had a meal, since it’s better to take multivitamins with food anyway.
Overall, this is the brand I would recommend to my pregnant and TTC friends.
