This came with a tamper evident seal and it arrived Feb 2023 with an expiration date of November 2023. It’s a 2 month supply I will be able to use before it expires. The capsules are packaged in a PETE (1) plastic bottle. Love that it’s made by a woman owned business! Vegan capsules are used – thank goodness.
Each capsule provides 250% of daily requirement of D3 – I have read that pregnant women need at least 600 IU of Vitamin D3 to support their’s and their baby’s health. Each capsule has 50 mcg (2000 ICU) so more than enough to supplement . D is a fat soluble vitamin so it’s good to take with meals. I’ve read that you can safely take up to 4000 Its of Vitamin D3 a day but any more than that may cause anxiety in some people.
Supplements can have all sorts of unintended ingredients like heavy metals. This product is exactly what I have been looking for as a D3 and K supplement and it’s third party tested. I bought these supplements as I read that while breastfeeding you should either supplement yourself with extra vitamin D or baby. I chose to supplement myself. These pills are tiny and easy to swallow. They don’t have a smell and no after taste! Will purchase again.

Do not order this it doesn’t tell you how many pills to take . Bottle was not seales properly and you can’t return to replace. Non-returnable

Easy to stomach when I actually remember to take it (2 under 2 lol). I’ve had normal vitamin d levels and haven’t had blood work since taking but since I’m BF I wanted to add more Vit D / K to my diet. Haven’t noticed huge difference physically but I think that’s to be expected.

This is a very high quality product and I used this during breastfeeding. I am a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and I also recommend this to my clients. Vitamin D is a hormone as well as a vitamin, and many people are deficient. Vitamin K also helps the absorption of Vitamin D.
Babies can get enough Vitamin D through breastmilk if moms are supplementing at least 6400 IU a day. It is a common misconception that breastfed babies need to take a supplement. I love that this supplement can be used in addition to whatever is in the prenatal vitamin.
