I am a very sensative individual to smells and tastes. This has no bad tastes or smells and it’s so easy to add to everyday diet ! I pray they don’t ever change the formula for this D3 drops ! I will be a lifelong supporter of these if they don’t change them !! Literally a life saver for this sensative gal that needed a good source of natural vitamin D3 from cholecalciferol with nothing added except the best carrier for it like mct oil ! Literally perfect science for optimum absorption! Thank you !!

I have never taken any other type of vitamin D supplement, except perhaps in a multi-vitamin. Blood tests showed my vitamin D levels were low and these drops brought them back up. Colorless, tasteless…I just put in water and drink. Much less expensive here on Amazon than from my doctor.
*Update*
I changed from 5 stars because I have used 3 or 4 bottles of this now over the years and the rubber dropper always eventually disintegrates enough that it separates from the plastic screw-on cap. I have lost liquid because of it and it gets exposed to open air. Not sure if this affects the quality of the product.
If the seller fixes this problem I would change my rating back to 5 stars.
*Update*
I have now been using this product for about 7 years. In about 2018 they switched from a squeeze dropper to a dropper opening on the bottle. It’s a great product and I’m glad they’ve made the change. With the dropper opening it works best if the bottle is straight upside down. I haven’t had anymore dropper problems and my blood tests continue to come back with good levels.

It’s a very high quality product. The taste is very mild, almost insensible. I like the form of the liquid better than pills and have a feeling it lasts longer. The ingredients are great and super short, and you get 1,000 iu in just 1 drop what is very rare in other liquid forms of vit. D. I take 3 drops , 3 times per day, because I had extremely low level of Vitamin D and felt super weak, but since I take this, along with Vit K2 I feel like a totally different person. So much better !

Five stars for the product but only three for the packaging. I have used Pure Encapsulations Vitamin D3 for several years and usually purchase at my local compounding pharmacy. These bottles usually last about a year using 10,000 IU’s daily. My pharmacy had been out for two weeks and looked on Amazon.com and found this but at a price $5.00 higher than my pharmacy. Since I was running out I decided to order from Amazon despite the higher price. It arrived with the security band on the cap but the bottle was 1/3 gone. These bottles are not usually full but the product comes to the curve at the top but this was well below the top of the label. I was concerned about the safety of this bottle and contacted Amazon. Then I went to my compounding pharmacy and they had gotten this in stock so I purchased two bottles. They too were 1/3 empty! Since I don’t have any way to be sure 22.3 ml is in the bottle all I can do is say that the previous bottles were never lacking this much product. No one else has mentioned this in the reviews and had I not been purchasing this for some time I would not have known the difference. The product is odorless and tasteless and I have found it far superior to the pill version of Vitamin D3. I will continue to use this product but think they should use a smaller bottle if they are not going to fill this one up. I think it seems deceptive to use such a large bottle and only fill it 2/3.

I would like 2 drops a day but have no idea what I am getting. The first Pure Encapsulations product I have tried that is not the best.

I have been using this product for almost 2 years and have been nothing but happy with it. No issues with the dropper detaching as some have described or it having a funny taste, the only time this happened was this past year when I got pregnant and went off my suppliments for a while because I was so sick. Sitting all summer in a hot pantry it got a stranger after taste but otherwise it’s been great. I give it to my two littles and they take it very easily and we’ve had no issues with Vitamin D deficiency at check ups (and we live in a very cloudy overcast wintery state). It was recommended by my holistic doctor and it’s all we’ll use now.

I use these vitamin D drops every day and they have really helped my mood and general overall feeling of good health. My husband is also taking D and he finds he isn’t nearly as achey as he was before he began. After about three weeks of taking 5 drops a day (5,000 i.u.’s a day) I had my blood tested and it came back I was low on D, so Dr. felt it was a great thing I had been supplementing, as I had probably been very low to start with. I am now continuing on with these drops, and hope to see my D levels rise in the coming months. Living in Oregon can be daunting at times with sunshine at such a premium (and this spring is no darned different!) but this bottle should be called liquid sunshine, as it does help in elevating my mood, and makes me feel so much better than I have in some time.
I really like that the formula is liquid, because I get tired of pills, and this goes down easy–no taste for me at all. I add it to a glass of water and that is just what it tastes like–water. I can see the oil drops, but don’t taste them. And there is no “repeat” for me either. A good product all around.

It was difficult to find vitamin D without additives and in an adequate dose of 1000 IU per drop. I am happy.
