Always weird reviewing supplements but here goes.
I get very little actual sunlight exposure due to WFH / being fully remote. Even before this new job, I worked a retail job indoors for many years and rarely got any sun exposure.
So supplementing D3 (for me) makes sense. I usually use Amazon’s own D3 supplement but was hard to get recently, jumped at a chance to try this one.
Amazon’s D3 potency is 50mcg / 2000 ICU, which is plenty for most people.
Built by Nature’s D3 potency is much higher at 125mcg / 5000 ICU.
If you get pretty decent daily sun exposure and have a balanced diet, this is likely totally overkill for you. I think 4000 ICU is the upper limit recommended, so do your research and consult your doctor if unsure
The pills are pretty small, slightly bigger than Amazon’s, and bright white. The coloring is provided by Titanium Dioxide, purely aesthetic, and completely unnecessary. This loses the product a star.
Value is ok. They’re not the cheapest 125mcg option, and there are several “bigger” brand options that would save you several cents per softgel.
Overall.. they’re ok. Sorry to be vague but the benefit is hard to measure short term and my rating and feelings are based mainly on: price, ingredients, and place of manufacture.

The dose is quite high, so you should check with your doctor before taking these. The pills themselves are a a reasonable size, shaped like a rounded football and roughly 1/2 x 1/4 inch at their widest points. The pills are made in China, so that’s something to be aware of if you try to keep track of where your supplements are sourced from. The tinted bottle has a regular twist on/off cap, rather than a child safety cap, which may be ideal for those who struggle to open common pill bottles, but will need to be kept out of reach of children.

I needed to supplement my Vitamin D because of my schedule. So I decided to give these a try about six weeks before my regular bloodwork. My vitamin D levels had previously been very, very low, but after six weeks of taking one of these each morning my Vitamin D level had recovered and was actually a little high for my age. Now, if you do get some sun exposure every day these are probably a bit too much. However, if you work third shift or otherwise have minimal exposure to the sun these should work for you to bring your Vitamin D levels back in line in no time.

My doctor has always recommended I take 5000IU of Vitamin D3 due to low blood test levels. I found these and decided for the price I would give them a try after checking up on the company. The main importance for me was that they are made by a reputable company and this seems to fit that criteria. I tend to feel sluggish when I don’t take my Vitamin D supplements but was hesitant to switch companies because I knew the one I took worked. The price of these make them attractive, too. You get a 2 months supply under $7. These are softgels too which I have always read make them easier to absorb by your body! As long as they continue working and my bloodwork doesn’t show a drop in levels I will recommend this item for anyone needing to boost their Vitamin D levels.

Gives me just enough in vitamin d for the week
