This is a good supplement.
Most people are deficient in vitamin D. 5,000 IU is a safe dose. This form of vitamin D (3)/cholecalciferol is bioavailable. Vitamin D3 helps the body sequester calcium in the blood and deposit it. Now, depositing calcium sounds like a good thing–and it can be. But, depositing calcium in blood vessels or organs causes plaques to develop… you don’t want that.
So, that’s why it is very important to always take vitamin D3 with vitamin K.
Vitamin K, as phytonadione, methoquinone-7, and methoquinone-4 signal the vitamin D to deposit back into the bones. This is important, especially for people who have/are at risk of osteoporosis (porous bones–lacking calcium).
The extra bonus of this supplement is the added zinc gluconate. 30 mg is a safe daily dose. This zinc is a more bioavailable form of zinc. I’ve taken lots of vitamin D supplements. I always take it in the morning to simulate sun exposure (I live in the Midwest, so the UVB rays don’t reach this latitude to produce adequate vitamin D naturally). I normally experience deeper sleep when I take vitamin D. That’s one way I know it’s working for me. I notice my sleep is more interrupted when I miss a dose.
“Vitamin D” is not a true vitamin, it is more of a raw material for all hormone production, essential for regulating every biochemical process in the body. So, despite the medical community’s silence on the issue, it is absolutely essential that people get vitamin D in an available form & never be deficient. Most people are deficient if they live above 30 degree latitude because vitamin D-producing UVB rays are shorter & make up only 5% of the sun’s rays. The inverse is that too much UVB radiation can cause skin cancer. Supplementing vitamin D3 is a safe means of protecting your immune system & your skin.

I highly highly highly recommend this product. I am 61 and trying to find the right products for my age is hard. The test run is draining. I highly recommend this supplement. I’ve only been taking it for less than a week and I already feel better my energy level has come up more. My mind is clearer All around feel better totally recommend it

I gave 4 stars because I loved the last bottle but this one is not the same formula and I did not order what is inside this bottle. I could see the herbs listed as ingredients inside the capsule of the first bottle and it had a green tint to it, but this new one is only orange and looks exactly like turmeric and when I opened the bottle it smelled exactly like turmeric. In the pic the top cap is the new one and the bottom is the previous bottle. The company was very helpful and replaced the bottle however it was the same so they refunded me. This company was very quick to reply to me and they offered me a refund or replacement right away. I would buy from this company again for sure. They also asked for a picture of the bottom of the bottle with the codes on it. I hope they will fix the formula soon because I would like to buy this again if it returns to the original formula I purchased.

Let’s just say I’m skeptical when it comes to ‘vitamins’ but these are really starting to work. I’ll admit it has taken 15 days but I feel as if a cloud has lifted. After a life changing accident 6 years ago when I crushed C4-C7, and broke L4, I had to start getting lumbar injections and as anyone knows steroids aren’t really good for you. When I recently broke an ankle while walking my dogs. The Dr sent me for a scan and I was told my bone structure was not good and it wasn’t going to get any better. After chatting to Physical medicine Dr he actually recommended these and said, it might take a while for them to work if they do any good at all, but we’ve tried everything else. I’ll admit I’m not going to be 21 again, but they’re starting to have an effect on my bones, they are strengthening, I was previously using bone up, but they are huge and very hard to swallow. These are easy, they actually absorb, so my body is making full use of everything, and there is zero aftertaste, even after the dreaded burp.
I’m Impressed and will be adding these to my list of growing older pills.
