I have never been much of a coffee drinker and typically drink some sort of energy drink in the morning. I have switched over to these energy shots and they have been so much better! I am surprised to see that these have 260mg of caffeine as the energy drinks I usually drink contain 180mg and seem to give me much more of a kick.
I would say that a typical energy drink provides you with a more noticeable ‘energy’ where these energy shots just sort of make you feel alert, focused, and awake. I also really enjoy the taste of these. So while I probably won’t stop drinking energy drinks completely, these energy shots are a much better alternative for most mornings.

Extremely bitter and just nasty tasting. I’ve had other versions of these compact energy shots and don’t recall them tasting this bad. 260mg of caffeine is a nice little boost if you need a pick me up and I didn’t notice a hard crash when the energy wore off but one was definitely enough for me.

The ingredients seem okay, nothing super concerning health wise… other than the absurdly high caffeine content. Each tiny bottle has the equivalent of about four cans of Mountain Dew or 260mg. The vitamins included are very common vitamins, nothing super special that would give you more energy than eating a little bit of vegetables. However, it claims 0 sodium, which is pretty impressive.
As far as taste goes, it’s a shot drink, meaning it’s designed to be drank as quickly as possible, so I went into this expecting a horrible experience. To me, it tastes a lot like a condensed GFuel, and the after effects are similar. As far as the mango flavor goes, it definitely tastes like a mango flavor. It’s hard to stomach, but again, it’s a shot drink, so I expected that.
I unfortunately can’t make a habit of drinking these regularly. The caffeine content is way too high. I suggest you only get these if you need a pick-me-up every now and then. Even then, you might prefer a flavor other than mango. Mango flavor is likely their worst one. Unfortunately, mango was the only flavor offered for review and I couldn’t find any other flavors listed at the time of this review.

Ok, so for me, these kinds of energy drinks never last the length of time they advertise, but they are good for a 3 hour or so pep up. This one is no different, but when compared to the other popular brand, the taste is much better, not as bitter and I do not get jittery at all (when drinking a full bottle). I typically will drink half, then the other half a couple hours later, but sometimes, a full bottle all at once is called for. Also, I don’t use these drinks on the regular, just occasionally when the need arises. These are cheaper than buying the other brand at the gas station and work just as good. I’ll be buying these from now on. Recommended!

This product does not have the heart-racing or skin tingling side effects that you can confuse with added energy. “You can feel it” doesn’t mean you have energy. The “flush” from a large dose of niacin is a trick.
On the other hand, how does “I feel like I have more energy” differ from “I have more energy”?
This product does have that strange flavor best described as “mango”. It even has the astringent feel of mango.
This product uses sucralose as the sweetener.
It is difficult to say how long it lasts. You’ll see that the merchant has trouble with that: “lasts up to 7+ hours”. You can’t say “lasts over 7 hours” if it might last 6 hours. You can’t say “lasts up to 7 hours” if it may last 8 hours. “Lasts 7 hours, more or less” sounds too vague; but you have to be vague. The lack of a sudden drop (“sugar crash”) means that you don’t have an indicator. I’ll say “7 hours”, but your metabolism will affect your experience.

Basically like what you see at the gas station, but these give you an extra hour of energy, this Seven hours of energy. Taste is good. Price here on Amazon saves you big bucks from gas station prices. Toss some in your purse or fanny pack. Highly recommended.

These are easy to drink and taste great. A bit hard sometimes to get into them; they don’t seem to easily tear along the plastic and I usually have to use a knife around the cap. Seem to give me a good boost in the afternoon when the sleepies usually kick in.
