When I first spotted this skincare, the packaging made me think it was designed for men, so I got it for my husband to try. After closer inspection of the description, I see essentially a unisex product, so I gave it a try too. I really like the scent, which is not at all overpowering, just a warm, woodsy, vanilla-lavender that brings soothing comfort to mind. I like that the product contains all sorts of things that are good for the skin, including vitamins and niaminicide. The main benefit of the product is that is leaves skin soft and glowing after use and improves the skin barrier over time. I did feel like my skin was nourished and soft after use, but I was disappointed that the scent didn’t last longer on my skin. I barely noticed it within minutes of my shower. The price is a bit hefty, but it is a good product, and those who want a vegan-based body wash would be pleased with their purchase.
Customer Review –
This is a great soap that suds up very well. I’m not too sure about the scent though. It kind of reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner, really. Maybe it’s the sage mixed with lavender? It does leave the skin very moisturized and soft, and cleanses very well. But still, the scent just seems a bit weird. I like the bottle, the top pushes and releases the soap easily, and only a small amount is needed to get a full washcloth full of suds. Just that scent though…

The third scent might be lavender, but it is as though the other two don’t exist. I could smell it through the shipping box, which would be great if lavender was why we got it. It was so bad after removing from all the packaging that the tube had to go back outside to try and air it out some. It did not work.
Light lather, clean feeling, but gracious it smells like there was an explosion at a lavender fairy dinner party. My head was aching so badly the bottle had to go into quarantine.
But, if you love lavender, you might love it.

This contains active ingredients such as AHAs & BHAs for gentle exfoliate but you should use sun screen when leaving the house on a sunny day. I would only use this at night. The body wash is clear and thick. It kind of lathers like a cream and does not foam up as much as other body washes. The scent is not what I typically go for but it is not bad and it sticks like cologne. It kind of reminds me of baby soaps but mixed in with cologne notes.

This body has a rich, earthy scent thanks to the sandalwood, musk, and vanilla ingredients. I love the amber-heavy aspects. It’s just the right amount of fragrance for me and is quite longlasting. It lathers up beautifully and rinses from my skin without making me feel itchy or like I need to slather myself in lotion.
I appreciate that it’s a vegan body wash and is cruelty-free. I feel good about using it!
Highly recommend this.

Monday Surf Vitamin Body Wash | Glow Skin, Nourish & Soften Skin with Niacinamide & Hyaluronic Acid | Scents of Vanilla: Lathers well when you add water. Not much of a scent though. But maybe that is a good thing for some people.

This body wash creates a thin fine lather but a small amount creates a lot of that lather so it cleans well. The fragrance is nice – very woodsy. I initially smelled some lavender but that didn’t linger so I was just left with the pleasant woodsy fragrance. This is also somewhat moisturizing – I tried it as a hand soap and didn’t need to use hand cream after using this. I like this.
Mysteries Solved –
The first thing you’re going to notice is the size of the bottle. Yes, it’s smaller than most big name brands. However, I’ve used it a number of times now and can tell you that it honestly more concentrated so you don’t need as much. My other observation was that, for me, it worked best with a traditional wash cloth. Now, that could be because I’m becoming more anti-luffa in general. All that aside, I could wash my entire body with nickel sized amount of body wash. The scent is clean and lasting. It’s gender neutral to be sure. In all, I would rebuy Monday Surf Vitamin Body Wash and recommend it to friends. Thanks!
