This is the first time I’ve taken magnesium in powder form and I’m not a fan. When I mixed this Vitamatic Magnesium Glycinate with water it smelled like aquarium water. Yuck.
I stirred it for quite a while and thought I had it mixed in. Took a couple sips but couldn’t stomach any more of it, so I left it on the counter intending to try again later. When I came back to it all the powder had settled to the bottom and basically made cement. I had a hard time getting it washed out of the glass. I think I will just use my capsule making machine and put this in gel caps.
I do love that it is just a single ingredient with no fillers. And it’s a huge bag for the money. I just wish it tasted better.

Prior to this product I used magnesium citrate. I felt an improvement with this product.
However if you mix it in a glass, and don’t rinse it out, the powder will dry to the bottom of the glass. It can be very difficult to remove once that happens.

I think I wasn’t absorbing the magnesium pills I was taking for the last year. My magnesium was low on a blood test so I switched to a powder. It’s easy to take, as it co wS with a small scoop, but it tastes bad. I’ll keep taking it because I believe this form is the best way for my body to absorb it.
