I struggle to sleep so I’m always looking for things to help me sleep. Since taking this I’ve been sleeping so good. Within 20 minutes I start to feel so relaxed that it’s lights out before I know it.
The powder dissolves ok in water. I chug it and chase it down with juice or eat a candy right after and it helps. The taste doesn’t linger and it’s not strong but it’s obvious.
I will be ordering more of this stuff when I finish off this bag. It’s great!

I got this powder to perhaps add magnesium to my protein shakes, and thought it would work out well but having to open the bag and sift through the powder for the teeny tiny scoop felt more trouble than it was worth so I found myself skipping it most of the time. Because of my inconsistency, I can’t comment on the effectiveness of the product. It is a very finely milled powder without any flavor, which is great for those who may be unable to find an appropriate gelatin-free capsule or dye allergies. Personally, it wasn’t the most ideal form factor for me as a powder, and I haven’t had previous luck with magnesium supplements with my personal conditions.

This powdered Vitamatic Magnesium Bisglycinate is a bit of a mixed bag, so to speak.
Pros:
– Cost effective. I think this is a much better value than capsules or gummies.
– Easy to modify/customize dosage because it’s not pre-measured out in to capsules.
Cons:
– It does not taste good. However, the flavor is effectively covered up if blended into a smoothie or stirred into a hot, flavored beverage.
– The dosing can be a little confusing based on the way the manufacturer labeled this product. Just count two scoops as 600mg of magnesium (not 2000mg, regardless of what the front of the package says).
I have been supplementing with magnesium daily for quite a while and find no problem with this product that I can’t deal with. I don’t like the flavor, but it’s not terrible so I can manage it just fine.
I really like “bulk” supplements like this, where they are not pre-dosed into capsules or pills, because it is easier to mix them into food or drink or to modify the desired dose.

The Vitamatic Magnesium Bisglycinate supplement is a high-quality magnesium product designed to support muscle, joint, heart health, and enzyme function. Each serving provides 2000 mg of Magnesium Bisglycinate, offering 600 mg of elemental magnesium, which is known for being one of the most bioavailable forms of magnesium. This ensures that the body absorbs and utilizes the magnesium efficiently, making it highly effective for addressing magnesium deficiencies or supporting overall health.
One of the key features of this supplement is its Non-GMO formula, which is also gluten-free and free of common allergens like soy, yeast, corn, and wheat. It contains no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, making it a clean and safe choice for individuals with dietary sensitivities. Additionally, it is free from sugar and starch, further enhancing its appeal for those who are conscious about added ingredients.
Manufactured in a GMP-compliant, FDA-registered facility, this product meets high standards of quality and safety. With 125 servings in a 250-gram package, it offers excellent value for those looking to support their muscle function, joint health, heart health, and overall well-being.
This supplement is particularly beneficial for individuals looking to increase their magnesium intake to address muscle cramps, joint stiffness, or general health, and its easy-to-digest form makes it suitable for regular use without causing digestive discomfort often associated with other forms of magnesium.

It turns out I’ve been sheltered by having only tried one type of magnesium powder before this supplement (Natural Vitality Calm magnesium citrate, which is flavored and quite pleasant to drink). Obviously I was not expecting this to be sweetened or flavored, but the chalkiness and slightly fishy taste took me by surprise. Apparently good magnesium powder is supposed to taste gross, so I can hardly fault it for this. It is effective, and I have not experienced any side effects. I started out with a half serving and built it up gradually.
The Supplement Facts label indicates that one serving contains 600 mg elemental magnesium from 2000 mg magnesium bisglycinate. 2000 mg magnesium bisglycinate should only provide about 200-282 mg elemental magnesium. This indicates that the magnesium was buffered with magnesium oxide in order to increase the elemental magnesium. This is a common issue with magnesium supplements, because magnesium oxide is cheap, but it is poorly absorbed compared to magnesium biglycinate and may have a laxative effect.
