2. Easy to read label so I follow the instructions correctly.

Can’t give this product any stars. It is sourced from CORN which is a GRAIN. The label does not list it as corn. I had to write to the company for that information. If you have a grain intolerance, do not use.

I was unfamiliar with Vita Nutrients so I contacted them, given that the FDA doesn’t regulate supplements, so the only way to determine the most trustworthy brands is to try to get a sense of the manufacturer’s processes, testing, product sources etc.
PROS:
Overall, Vita Nutrients seems to be one of the better sources of glucosamine. They manufacture in-house in Connecticut in an FDA-compliant facility and document extensive purity, potency and other types of product testing.
CONS:
They source product ingredients worldwide including in China and India, the two countries which have had the poorest record for supplement contamination, inadequate potency and other purity issues.
They also don’t release product testing results to their users. They say with some reason that testing for all the production factors for glucosamine sulfate are complex, so there is no effective means to provide these results to consumers.

All things considered, I have no major concerns with this product and am willing to use it myself. But I do think that it is time for the more credible and trustworthy supplement vendors to figure out a means to provide better information to consumers on the purity, potency and overall quality of their supplements.
