I’ve been taking collagen, biotin, keratin and hyaluronic acid to support healthy skin + joints for about a year, and have noticed the difference (combined with exercises a healthy diet, good topical skin care, such as facial masks and red LED light massages).
This VITAL HERBAL Liposomal Collagen doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been learning all about the different collagen forms and liposomal simple means a fat is added to help carry the collagen to cells. In this case, sunflower oil is added as an ingredient in a powdered form. Fat soluble supplements tend to hang around longer in the body than water soluble ones (they get flushed out faster). This is a highly concentrated extract with a 10:1 ratio that shows how 15000 mg (15 g) of the types of collagen listed are distilled into 1500 mg (1.5) in two veggie capsules. This is more potent than most of the other collagen products I have used, and it gives me the option to take one capsule versus two. I find the I need at least 2500 mg of collagen a day to see a difference.
The other ingredients in this VITAL HERBAL Liposomal Collagen are also very good. For example, the d-biotin is the same as biotin except the d denotes that the biotin is in it’s more active and natural form. The black pepper and vitamin C in this product enable bioavailability of the other ingredients (helps them get absorbed better). The keratin in this product is organic and hydrolyzed to increase absorption. Other ingredients such as Vitamin E ( a natural preservative) and nicotinic acid also support my healthy skin,
In terns of quality, this VITAL HERBAL Liposomal Collagen is made in a GMP facility in the USA and is third party lab tested. I’ve been setting this quality level as a standard for supplements I order because FDA doesn’t regulate over the counter supplements, so there could be any dose or ingredient in them. Really happy to have found this supplement and will order it again.

There’s a lot of different types of supplements you can get on Amazon, many of which have varying degrees of legitimate benefit. I wanted to specifically get some collagen to help with my skin in nails as I don’t have easy access to a source of collagen where I live. I spoke with my doctor about my diet, and he did say that additional collagen would be a good idea (I recommend anyone considering their diet to also speak with their doctor!)
Now this product isn’t actually approved by the FDA as it is a supplement and most supplements are unable to do so since they can’t cure or diagnose conditions by any means. If you are deficient in one type of nutrient, you can then take a product like this. As for this product, the dosage, presentation, and pills are all straightforward.
The ingredients are delivered in a clear pill capsule. There’s a powdery substance contained within and the wall of the pill is strong enough that it does not break up immediately when swallowing (which is good). There was very little taste to the pill itself, and it did not upset my stomach in any way afterwards. I’ve been taking this supplement for a few days now, and all seems well.
This sort of product won’t have immediate results, thankfully there’s a generous 150 capsules in this bottle so I’ll continue to take them. Even if this does not have an affect on me, I think this product is a good value for what it is and if you lack collagen in your diet, then this is a great way to get it!

Se me hicieron fáciles de tomar. Además me gustó que incluyera varios ingredientes bastante buenos como el colágeno de 1500mg, además de ácido hialurónico, keratina, entre otros, ya que son muy buenos para la piel.
En resumen, contiene buenos ingredientes y una buena cantidad. Sé que con éstas capsulas, podré ver buenos resultados.

Great Collagen supplement with Collagen 1, 2, 3 and 4 and it has other supplements that I have been looking for all in one pill, instead of taking supplement after supplement, this does the job. My appetite has been better since I started taking these. This also has Biotin in it which aids in hair growth, something I desperately need. It’s too early but I am hoping it will help my nails. What used to be strong now is brittle so I’m hoping this can fix this problem I’ve been having with growth problems over the years.

I’ve been taking this faithfully since it arrived @3 weeks ago and haven’t had any negative issues. I am more interested in the possible help with my joints than the beauty aspect of collagen, but don’t get me wrong that would be a great bonus! I’m sure this supplement has had positive effects on my joints, skin, hair and nails, but nothing that I’ve noticed. Unfortunately, with all supplements like this, it is a gradual improvement over time, so it’s very difficult to see. I’m certain it has helped, but at only 3 weeks of us, you’re not going to notice anything. I am going to continue to use this product because it can only improve my overall being over time.
