I bought this for brain health, and surprise – surprise my cholesterol dropped. It is said that turmeric
can help lower cholesterol – and it did. I take no drugs. I take red yeast rice 1200 a day with CoQ10,
and I was going to up it because since Covid I get no exercise. Last year my cholesterol was too high.
When I had my bloodwork done, my cholesterol was really good. The only change was the turmeric.
I believe this is a good brand, and product.

Though this product might seem expensive compared to some of the other turmeric formulas on Amazon, you get what you pay for! This product provides the highest amount of curcuminoids per serving at one of the lowest prices (if not the lowest) and has the ingredients to enhance absorption, as well (always best to take with a fat-containing meal regardless). This product passed all the tests at ConsumerLab, not only for purity but having the number of curcuminoids that the label claimed. I’d been taking turmeric for several years to combat natural inflammation that happens with aging with great results. You have to take at least a tablespoon of the spice (mixed with liquid) to get results and It was icky to drink the mixture, so I was looking for an extract alternative. Vitacost Turmeric has the highest mg per serving/capsule that I could find plus it has Bioperine (found in black pepper) which has been proven to improve the absorption of turmeric. I’ve been taking this for several months and it works just as well as the yucky stuff–no achy joints and tendonitis! Very happy with the quality and I just placed an order for another 2 month supply.
