I just did think it worked that well. I have fine hair on my legs but the product failed to remove half of my hair. I meticulously followed the directions. I tried the product several times with the same results. I guess it’s back to shaving or wax stripping ick.

Did a test patch in a few places. It seemed to kind of work when left for the maximum 6 minutes, with half of the hair scraping off. Smelled awful though. Went in with a layer across all body hair, and when I got to the area I did the test on, it stung quite a bit. I decided to endure it so I could remove my body hair, figuring just a bit more time would do it. And more than the pain, it stank bad. I stuffed tissues up my nose to try and not breathe, and the taste of the smell got in my mouth and throat. I gagged, and was glad I only had a light breakfast. The exhaust fan in my bathroom could not do anything about the smell, powerful as it was. Then when I went to scrape the hair off after 10 minutes, it was worse. Barely any hair came off, and it stank to high heaven. I scraped it off, and tried to rinse it off, and yet it stubbornly clung to my skin. Wanting to be through with it and get the smell off of me, I grabbed a loofah I didn’t mind throwing away later and put some salicylic acid body wash that would hopefully get all of this stuff out of my skin. It took 3 full body scrub and rinses to get my skin clear. After that, I tried to shave, still wanting my body hair gone. It ended up being more difficult than usual, coming out patchy in places, because the cream chewed away at the hair only enough to make it too weak to stand.
To get the smell out of my house, in addition to taking 3 showers, I left the bathroom exhaust fan on, put a box fan in the bathroom for more circulation, opened all the windows, lit a few candles, rinsed my mouth with mouthwash and exfoliated my face and lips, got something to eat and drink, and sat outside for half an hour. Nothing less would clear the smell. Oh, and I took the bottle of this product out to the back porch, because it has no place in my home.
Never again. I’ll just save up a couple thousand and get laser hair removal.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I had to hop on here and write one. I suffer from a genetic condition that causes boils on my underarms, and it makes shaving and waxing so hard because if I’m having a flare up it’s painful and makes the situation worse. I’ve tried nair and no matter what formula it burned. I put this on my pits, removed it in 2 mins as instructed and everything came off!! It didn’t even tingle. It got around my scar tissue and everything! Amazing!!
Then I tried it on my lady part, and let me tell you!! I’m a big girl, and shaving is a damn battle. But I like shaving, makes me feel better and cleaner. I don’t get waxes because I’m insecure lol, and I didn’t know how I’d feel about this product, I thought it would only remove some and just be a waste of time… and yeah it didn’t remove every last strand of hair, but when I tell you 3 mins with the product on and then removing it I am smoother and cleaner than I’ve been in such a long time. I had to touch up some parts but it’s better than a 30 minute contortion act in the shower as a big girl, shit I gotta stretch before hand lmao 🤣 but this stuff cut that time to like 10 minutes and it’s so smooth!
Anyways… I had to write this because I am shocked. Not a single burning feeling or anything.

I LOVEEEEEE THIS … gentle on my skin and will get every bit of hair! i hate waxing and shaving bc of the ingrowns but with this NOT ONE… the most quick , efficient, pain free way to get that smooth skin feel

In recent years I’ve noticed that the hair on my legs grows way faster, and has gotten way coarser. While much of this is due to age, I had this AH HA moment – I used veet all through high school and early 20’s. Now that I’ve been using it again I truly believe that regular use results in thinner hair, because it effects the follicles. That said I’ll start with pros:
1.) Really effective. I’m not a super hairy person, but the hairs are definitely there. In my initial testing I stuck with 2 minutes before I started scraping, and most of the hairs swiped right off. Now I do about 4 minutes for good measure (be sure to do a test patch, and follow the instructions to be safe).
2.) As mentioned earlier – I’m noticing that the hairs are growing in slower, and less coarse.
3.) The price is great compared to anything you’d do in a salon (along with the level of pain – with Veet it’s zero).
4.) I have pretty sensitive skin and this doesn’t lead to much irritation (see Con #1 for clarification)
Now the cons:
1.) Another thing I forgot about – regular use of this product turns your skin into the Sahara. Immediate alligator skin. Make sure to moisturize very frequently.
2.) The smell is so terrible. And it lingers. I’m still trying to come up with a solution to not smell like an egg that has been rotting in a broken garbage disposal after using Veet. Soaking and scrubbing at various levels seems to be the best bet, but even with my best efforts, I still get whiffs the day of use.
The cons, while unpleasant, do not outweigh the pros – I’m very happy to have found my way back to Veet.
