I love the lather and cleaning capacity of this soap. It doesn’t overly dry your skin, but does clean really well… leaving you feeling refreshed and bright. While it is quite gentle, it’s also very effective at balancing the oils in your skin. I can’t honestly say it has lightened or removed any dark spots… but perhaps you’d need a lot more usage before this happens. I used it nightly for just over a month without any irritation and issues of any kind. As a facial soap, this performs really well. It also comes with an exfoliating net that can be used with the soap (I just used my hands) for deeper cleaning. Note: this is a 3 pack of soap… not 4 pack as stated.

This is a neat little box containing three individually wrapped soaps, and an African net sponge. The ingredients in the soap are listed on the box, as follows: Alkyl Polyglucoside (APG_, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Retinol, Kojic Acid, Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Turmeric P.E., Sodium Chloride, Aqua, Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Plive Pil, Fragrance, FD&C Yellow, FB&C Red. It contains no parabens, and isn’t tested on animals.
This is very nice soap. I’ve used similar soap before, and I’ve been happy. It has a waxy texture when you first unwrap it, but once it’s wet, the waxiness goes away. It doesn’t lather as much as some soaps, but it’s enough. The fragrance is slightly lemony, and reminds me of those citronella outdoor candles.
I really like this as an everyday soap. The African net sponge turns out not to be what I’d imagine a sponge to be. It’s a long piece of net that I really like for exfoliating my upper arms. If you have that lumpy skin condition called keratosis pillaris, this is the kind of exfoliating net that might help smooth things out.
This is a soap that I’d definitely order again. It causes no irritation to my sensitive skin, and I can even use it on my face without any problems (although I prefer not to use soap on my face as a rule). I don’t really have any dark spots yet, so I can’t say if it would have an effect against those, but as an everyday cleansing shampoo, I think this works very well.

I’m buying more. I have used two bars and use daily sun screen on my face. I’ve noticed a big difference, but spots still are not completely gone. It is easier to cover what I still have with make up. I recommend.

This arrived from the vendor in a branded box with tamper evident shrink wrap around it. There was an expiration date “05/2027” clearly printed on the back.
There were three sealed & wrapped soap bars inside along with a scrubbing cloth also sealed in its own wrapper that looked like a copper dish scrub cloth.
This soap has a fresh scent like the mosquito repellants, but we are used to that & actually like it.
It cleans well, soaps up good.
Nothing much else noticed over several weeks, but we do like the scent & often pick it up over other choices.
Might not buy it again unless I miss the mosquito repellant scent.
