Excellent product—when used correctly. I noticed that many reviewers try to use it during daytime, under makeup, but I think it’s better suited for overnight treatment. The product I received is actually labeled as “balm” not “cream,” which is much more appropriate given its texture. Other reviewers have also commented on the texture being more balm-like, so kudos to the manufacturer for listening to and acting on customer feedback. I like to use this balm over other anti-aging treatments that lack oils, such as water-based serums and gels. Used this way, the balm forms what I can best describe as a protective matrix over the delicate under-eye area, helping to seal in other products, retain moisture, and relax expression lines. Even after washing it off in the morning, I notice a difference in the appearance of my under-eye area—it looks and feels more hydrated, bouncy, almost more elastic. The texture of the balm is perfect: tacky enough to prevent it from migrating into the eyes or cheek area, but soft enough to spread easily without tugging. I have very dry eyes and even a thicker layer of this balm does not irritate them. Would I recommend it to a friend? Absolutely. Would I buy it again? You bet. Even though the jar is huge, I’m already contemplating purchasing a back-up.

I was a little disappointed when I got the product this time. The ad says it is the same as the other jar I ordered several months ago. However, the color is different and the consistency is different. It doesn’t act the same on my face.

After using another moisturizer from this company for a couple of years, I gave this a try (the other was regularly out of stock). The product description clearly says “Eye Cream”, but the label on the jar says “Eye Balm.” It is definitely a balm, having a very oily texture that does not absorb easily. It stays on the surface of my skin, very shiny and oily, which makes it impossible to wear under makeup. I thought I could use it for nighttime use only, but since it does not absorb, it eventually ends up all over my pillowcase. I don’t use a lot, in fact, I haven’t even made a dent in the balm. Instructions say to use a “dime size” amount, but that would be way too much. I barely rub the surface. Not happy with this balm at all, as I was hoping for a cream-type moisturizer mentioned in the product description. I like the other products from this company, but this one doesn’t work for me. It might work as a cuticle conditioner, though! Seller needs to correct the product description.

I feel like I’m putting raw honey on my face so its too sticky, and moist to wear anytime but at night. I was expecting a nite/day creme.

I’ve been using this before bed daily for several years. I would not use it during the day. But for overnight, it keeps the area around the eyes protected and moisturized all night long. I have very sensitive eyes and it doesn’t sting at all if some happens to get in the eyes the way other products can. Highly recommend

This cream does moisturize and is for sensitive skin, but NOT for the eyes area, as It is too greasy and gets inside your eyes. It will make them be watery and with sort of a double vision. It can hurt a bit and difficult to get your eyes clear of it… I thought it was me not being careful enough, apply it too close to my eyes, but no matter, if it is applied around the eyes, it will get into them because it slides on the skin. I have also used it for small expresion wrinkles on my face and it works well there. Bottom line, good natural cream/balm (more of a “vaseline” kind of consistency) for other areas, other than the eyes… YES, this is a greasy moisturizing cream/balm and does not soak up and disappear right away on the skin. If that is not what you are looking for, I don’t think this is for you.

Very moisturizing a little goes a long way and product lasts a very long time. Have sensitive skin no irritation whatsoever, good for fine lines, wrinkles and dry skin. I use it at night as it is an oily balm. Highly recommend great for mature skin.
