I have been taking Omega-3 since 2011 on the advice of my eye doctor for dry eyes. It noticeably improved my dry eye condition.
In this review, I compare the Nature Made Triple Omega that I took for years with UNIQUE Omega-3.
One Nature Made Triple Omega soft gel contains
♦ Omega-3 434 mg
♦ Omega-6 276 mg
♦ Omega-9 170 mg
total of 880 mg
UNIQUE Omega-3 serving size is two soft gels. It contains 60 gels (one month supply if 2 gels are taken daily). I am specifying the nutritional content for one soft gel to compare with One Nature Made Triple Omega.
♦ EPA 225 mg (EPA is Long-chain omega-3 fatty acid Eicosapentaenoic acid)
♦ DHA 150 mg (DHA docosahexaenoic acid)
♦ Other Omega-3 450 mg (not broken down)
total of 825 mg
In addition, it also contains other ingredients, including Vitamin D3, recommended by my doctor with a dose of 2000 IU; this gel contains 15 mcg in two gels, which is equivalent to 600 IU for two gels (less than half recommended by my doctor, so I need an additional D3 dose).
Now, the price comparison per one soft gel. When I write this review, Nature Made Triple Omega is 150 gel caps priced at $14.99 (10 cents per capsule, and you need two for a daily dose of 20 cents). The cost of Nature Made D3 capsules 2999 IU is $21.31 fir 320 capsules, which is 7 cents per capsule. Total cost for both is 27 cents daily.
UNIQUE Omega 60 gels are $49.50 (82.5 cents per capsule). If I take 2 gels a day, it is 1.65 cents (plus the cost of the additional D3 I would need to meet my doctor’s recommendation).
Nature Made Triple Omega is more cost-effective.

I just received my order of unique E+Omega Fish Oil Capsules. After breaking the seal I noticed the expiration date of 11-2019. I’m disappointed because the product freshness – expiration date/shelf life is expiring soon. I would have ordered from another source if I would have known.

Good quality Omega 3 supplement. Does not give me the fishy burps. Easily digested. No GI side effects even taking on an empty stomach. However, the capsules are large, but they go down fairly easily and don’t get stuck in my throat.
