I ordered this set of HOPEMATE Under Eye Patches (48 Pairs) 24k Gold Gel Eye Masks for Puffy Eyes, Dark Circles, Undereye patches to use for home spa days.
This is a nice, large set of under eye patches intended for twice-daily use. I don’t have that kind of free time, so I tested the day and night patches on two separate days.
If you have the time to use these twice daily, I think you’ll be pleased with the results; I liked the results after using just the day or night patch. These feel slightly cool when you apply them. You need to leave them on for about twenty minutes.
The set comes with 24 day and 24 night patch sets. Each comes in a separately wrapped packet. The patches are fairly wet when you take them out, they stick very well to your under eye area. I like that you can put these on and go back to your regular activities; I’m much more likely to use a product if I don’t have to carve time out of my day to sit and let it work. The first time I used this (a “day” pack), I applied the patches, then went downstairs and folded laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, and washed and loaded a sink of breakfast dishes. Twenty minutes later, I had folded laundry, a clean sink, and well-hydrated skin under my eyes.
These are a lovely little luxury, I definitely noticed my skin felt and looked softer and more hydrated after use. I love the individually wrapped packs, you know they are safe and tamper-free, and they’re easy to pack when traveling. I also love that I can put these on and keep going, and reap the benefits of the eye patches without having to stop my busy day.
I liked both the day and the night patches, I’m not sure what the different formulation is. I’ve used the day ones more because I tend to be so tired at the end of the day that I forget the night ones, but when I do remember, I like the difference I see.
These make a real difference for me on days when I’ve had less than four hours of sleep; the dark circles under my eyes seem to lessen slightly when I apply these patches, and I can feel my skin smoothing under the added hydration.

I love to try out new facial care products, so I ordered these eye patches. The product arrived well-packaged and unopened; each pair of patches was individually wrapped in their own package, so I didn’t have worries about safety/purity. There were 48 pairs included; 24 for day and 24 for night, which was unexpected for me. I will likely use all of them at night, but good to know I have daytime options.
The instructions say to cleanse the face and then apply the patches for about 20 m. I will say that the patches feel wonderful going on (they are cool and stick without being sticky); I really felt refreshed using them. I do feel that they reduced the normal everyday puffiness under my eyes.
I don’t know how often I’m supposed to use these (everyday? weekly?), but it’s a nice pampering product to have in the arsenal. I just don’t know that they’ll fix under eye problems when the problem is something else (if you have tired, puffy eyes all the time, fix the external factors like drinking less alcohol and sleeping more). They would also make a good gift for a friend, if you feel comfortable telling your friend that their eyes look a wreck.
At time of review, they were selling for $20 for a container of 48 pairs. That seems like a really great value to me.
Diabolical Duo –
I love to use under eye masks as part of my at-home spa days or for anytime I have some puffiness or dryness under my eyes. With the weather changing to be cooler I’ve needed a little more soothing in my under eye area because my skin gets very dry and then gets puffy and irritated. Anyway, I like the two separate formulations for day and night that these provide. Neither one irritates my skin at all, even when it was very dry before applying these. The individual pouches can be a little tricky to open with spilling/splattering the serum, but they’re not awful. I like the portability they provide. The gel masks are thinner than some others I’ve used, which is a huge plus in my book. They are light and pliable enough to stay on my face where I put them while doing other things and moving around. The day serum seems to be a little bit thinner and better for using before makeup, etc. the night serum has a little more viscosity and seems to hydrate better. They do help depuff some just from the coolness they provide when putting them in. Pop them in the fridge before using for an extra bit of coolness. They definitely reduce very fine lines a bit. When my skin is very dry it gets very fine wrinkles and these do improve that a lot. I’m sure any cream would, but I like how light weight this serum is and that it absorbs well (both day and night). It says to use them each once a day, one in the am and one in the pm. I use them as needed, so they’ll last a little longer because I don’t use each day. There might be better values out there, but I think these are good quality and recommend for some at-home pampering.
