Love this product and always keep it on hand. Great alternative to Vaseline but without petroleum so better for the planet. I even gave it to family for Christmas. Works great on dry patches, hands, and feet.

This works great around the eyes. I have had eye gel from Principle Secret since the 1980’s. The stuff is awesome, but I never needed it, until now, and the little container is just about empty and there is no more.
Well this unpetroleum jell does the job. I like the ingredients also.
1/11/2017 Update: My eyes and eyelids look so much better now. As a bonus, this also seems to be curing me of another problem I have been dealing with for years. I get a dry nose in winter and it gets so bad it bleeds and gets infected. Raising humidity in my house helped, and polysporin helps. Well, this unpetroleum jell works much better than polysporin and seems to have finally cured the problem or on the course to a cure. I think it’s because it gives all day moisture.

Doctor advised me to use as I was allergic to Aquaphor, a petroleum based product. Both of these products were thick and hard to get out of the tube. However, with the Un-Petroleum Jelly, I did not break out in a rash nor have the itching problem. It does coat the skin and gave me the protection I needed. The odor is “blah” – kind of musty – but that seems the problem with jelly type projects even with cortisone that I used for the itching prior to getting this product. Amazon was the only place to carry this product although several large drugstores showed it was available to order but the cost was significantly higher and did not include shipping. .

This is my go-to skin balm for all kinds of issues, from cuts to burns to irritation. Works amazingly, doesn’t contain any dangerous ingredients, and is totally natural. I’ve been using it for years and can’t do without it!

The consistency isn’t as thick as aquaphore so it absorbs more. it isn’t petroleum based, but you can slather it on in the same way as other petroleum based creams. I think my kid is sensitive to one of the ingredients in the other “natural” lotions and creams so we can’t use aveno, Burt’s bees or Honest. No smell! My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in a bigger bottle.
