so, i like this. tastes great, doesn’t aggravate sensitive stomach, etc. however, it doesn’t have enough sodium to be effective for the average person (which is why i’m only giving 4 stars), let alone someone like me who needs heavy duty electrolytes for health issues. but it was great when i desperately needed electrolytes but had to restrict my salt intake because of another, different, temporary health issue. so i would recommend this for people who need electrolytes but avoid sodium—after consulting your doctor, of course. also a note: i’ll only buy the individual packets, the bulk jars always turn rock solid and unusable within a week or two of opening no matter how i store them.

Great lemonade flavor. My 1st use was during a colo-prep; bought 10 packets at Sprouts – loved the flavor & glad to keep my electrolytes balanced during the liquid diet phase. Next: brought lemonade & raspberry packets (combo 40-pack/Amazon order) on a vaca-trip abroad incl. an 8-day sail-cruise. Hubby loved them too; kept us both well-hydrated & good for his pre-diabetic condition. We added 1-2 packets to water bottles depending on size, & found flavor to still be good even if ratio was slightly water-heavy. Mixing the 2 flavors was tasty too, but lemonade is our fave – reminds us of Crystal Light.
Big tubs of powder can be a better $value, but these packets are so easy to use & much more convenient when on the go (spill free!). We may buy a big tub for home use in the future but we like the packets a lot and being able to shake a spill-free bottle ensures a good mix. Be sure to follow mixing instructions (add powder into the water) to avoid clumping & keep shaking throughout until finished while you see sediment. But if you get a little sediment in your mouth it will just taste a bit salty but certainly wont hurt you. No biggie…

I live in Florida, you can break a sweat just walking to the mailbox lol. I workout out side all summer long and this replenisher is a life saver for me. I have tried dozens of other replenishing drinks and this one doesn’t taste like artificial sweetener like the other one do.

This product helps me to drink more water which is vital to our body’s! I love the pure lemonade flavor, it’s the most natural I have found. It also provides vitamins and minerals so often not included in our diet.

I avoid sugar due to health issues. And plain water is sometimes too much for my body when I take my morning supplements. I was excited to find this. I wanted balanced electrolytes. It tastes very good! I’ve tried various flavors. I take them on the go. I take them when I travel and I take it if I’m eg hiking or will be outdoors/in the heat. I add it to my water bottle or in a glass. highly recommended.

Dehydration is a chronic issue. If you live at higher elevations, where it is warm or you just don’t drink much water, you could be dehydrated like I was. Where I live everyone I know who goes to the emergency room is diagnosed as dehydrated among their other ailments.. I recently had pain all over my body and went to the doctor. She explained that it looked like I was dehydrated. What? I drink lots of water because it is dry where I live. She explained that I had low electrolytes and the water I was drinking was going right through and not hydrating me. So…Ultima to the rescue. I was relieved of my pain within 2 days. I am 69 years old so that surely has much to do with it. I enjoy an active life.
The best way to use this is to mix it in room temperature drinking water and stir with a small battery mixer that you can pick up for little money. A spoon works well and a shaker would work too. This product does not have sugar so the sweet tooth in me rebells just a bit. To make it palatable, pour it over a glass of ice like you would iced tea. Guzzle or sip and it will do wonders.
This is not a medical diagnosis or cure but it sure is a cheap first step if you think you might be dehydrated.
