Not a huge fan. I bought this as in the winter my hands somehow turn into my mother’s — wrinkled and dry and flaky and I thought this would be a fix. I am not sensitive to scents but I don’t care for the scent of this . . . it’s not horrible but not something I like either. It does apply nicely and soak in but it leaves a dry dust on my hands once dried. I can’t seem to get that weird feeling off without washing which defeats the purpose of the lotion. I have found that using it at night before going to bed the film doesn’t bother me so I will use it, but I will not be reordering it.

I bought this because I developed Hand Foot Syndrome as a side effect from chemotherapy. It’s a painful condition which also makes your feet extremely dry, peel and sometimes crack. Urea is the ingredient that is recommended to help with this. It did help, I used often on my feet with cotton socks and it made a difference. I did not like it on my hands because it goes on very “chalky feeling”. A friend of mine did not mind this but for me I had to wash it off. I understand that the ingredient that makes it so effective (Urea) is also what makes it have that chalky feel (science) so if you have severely dry hands and feet, I would try this despite the chalky feeling. The price can not be beat either. I like that they are recommended by The People’s Pharmacy show on NPR.

We’ve got sensitive skin and eczema prone skin in our household so we’ve been through most of the obvious choices to keep inflamed , itchy , flakey skin at bay.
We’ve had this recommend from a nurse in hospital so I thought I’d give it a try.
It’s worked for both me and my daughter from the first application and I’m so pleased with it I’ve purchased more.
It’s not greasy ( which is important for me because I hate Greasy creams that leave a lot of residue ) and it really seems to help. I would recommend this.

20% Urea. I have so so many foot problems, including heel dryness/cracking and a patch of eczema. After using prescription hydrocortisone with little effect, my podiatrist suggested that I add 20% urea cream to the mix and cover it with plastic or something a few nights each week. I tried to find the cream in my local stores (Walgreens, CVS, Whole Foods) to no avail, the closest was a 10% urea cream at Walgreens. I ordered some gel socks along with this cream. I have been using toeless gel socks similar to these: http://www.amazon.com/Oppo-Medical-Heel-Socks-Blue/dp/B0048F27ZO/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1441808313&sr=8-6&keywords=gel+socks+heel (but I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond) in the past, which is good for the heel but doesn’t cover the rest of the foot with gel, and my eczema was on the side of my foot. I ordered these gel socks to try which do cover the side of the foot with gel: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O81S77A/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1 and https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F5KE8VM/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2.
This cream goes on so smooth, you only need a little bit. You can immediately feel that it’s going to help. The order comes with 2x 2-ounce bottles, and from my searches this is a great price compared to other similar products. After the first night using it, I could tell the difference the next morning, my skin was softer and my heel was healing. The gel in the socks helps to hold in the moisture to aid in the healing.
I will admit, I have not yet used this product enough to say whether it will make my eczema and heel cracking go away, and I know it is unlikely to be permanent. But I”m glad to have found a 20% urea product that is affordable!

Product good. Good size for travel. Would prefer larger size for home use.

Consider this an early report, but early results are certainly impressive.
For three years, I have had a condition the leaves some fingers, near the tips, red, dry, pealing, and cracking. The cracks are very painful and require Bandaids just to keep the pain from being distracting. My physician thought it was eczema, even though it did not itch, and prescribed a steroid cream, they a strong steroid, and then an even stronger steroid. That seemed to reduce the problem on some fingers, leaving some as bad as ever. I tried creams, petroleum jelly, coconut oil, and even mink oil. Nothing did much good at all.
I found some references to this product. I have now used it for three days,. All but one painful crack have disappeared, and the last is almost healed. There has been some pealing, but with a big difference. Before, pealing skin left the underlying skin that quickly cracked and became raw.. This pealing leaves intact skin, softer than before. The skin seems somehow tougher. Not harder, just less vulnerable. Smooth but not soft. And unlike every other cream, lotion and oil, this product actually is absorbed. Everything else refused to penetrate and left excess to be wiped off.
I believe the key factor to be the urea. I once had thick, tough, dry areas on my heels, and a urea-based product pealed the hard skin and left it soft and well. Otherwise, all I know right now is that this product has made an immediate and dramatic difference and shows every sign of eventually clearing it up. I expect it will be needed continuously or from time to time, but it’s a small price to pay after three years of an annoying condition.

The only reason I did not give this a 5 is because it makes my hands feel a bit tacky for a short while after I apply it. It does work well, though, and I’m excited to see if it makes a difference through a Kansas dry winter.
