These definitely don’t last as long as they’re advertised to. I would say you get a week to two weeks tops out of the scent.

We have an ubbi diaper pail and we love it because we can use regular garbage bags with it. However, just like any pail, this has started to smell over time because the pail itself will absorb smells even if you empty the garbage once a week.
I bought these, WHICH ARE DESIGNED FOR THIS PAIL, hoping to help that smell. They smell strong and good when you take the foil cover off, but you basically just drop them in the pail outside the bag and it does nothing. You can’t even smell it after a day, and if someone says you have to put it in the bag then that’s a huge waste since you’d be throwing out once a week when it says it should last multiple. My pail smells worse than before and I will never buy these again.

I have tried everything, the baking soda, essential oils, wrapping poop diapers in doggy bag before throwing them in, hosing and airing the pail out every week and it still was a deadly noxious smell every time you open it!!! Not anymore!!! After buying these our ubbi pails don’t almost knock us out every time we open them. Don’t hesitate just get it. It doesn’t just mask the stench with lavender it actually does neutralize it. Worth every penny!!!

The idea is nice but… there’s no disguising the smell of poo. Once that lid is open, you have poo smells wafting out with lavender hints. It gives the poo a sickeningly sweet smell.

I have to admit I was kind of disappointed when I bought an ubbi diaper pail after using a munchkin one for my first baby (which I didn’t think was that great) when I realized that a disgusting smell seemed to linger in it. I tried using some other scent absorbers, but they didn’t do anything. I decided to purchase these gel ones, and wow, what a difference it made! I hardly notice a smell when changing the bags. These really worked for us.

I can’t believe I spent the first 2 years of my child’s life completely oblivious to the existence of this product. Let me tell you, as a parent your nose never quite gets desensitized to the foul odour of poop, especially once your kid starts solids. Trust me when I tell you that YOU NEED THIS if you don’t want your nose to be violated every time you open the diaper pail. This magical item, which I’m convinced some mystical fairies created because it’s out of this world, sucks up all the stink – like, it’s GONE (until you have to actually change the bin bag). I’m coming up on 4 weeks with 1 cartridge and it’s done a fantastic job so far, but I can sniff out that it’s time to replace it.
Don’t even bother buying the Arm & Hammer Munchkin versions because they stink (pun intended).

I got these to go in my Ubbi diaper pail. I use the Ubbi diaper trash bags which have a scent to help with the diaper stink but it wasn’t quite enough so I added these to the bottom of the pail. It doesn’t completely eliminate the stink but it definitely helps!
