I’ve been making my own balanced dog food and some of the recipes call for Iodine from sea kelp. These are easy to make into a powder and spread into a batch of dog food. There aren’t a lot of iodine products out there that don’t have a bunch of fillers and unnecessary ingredients. This one seems to have iodine and just a base to put it into pill form. Since we’re only using less than a single pill per batch of dog food, these will last us a long time. Excellent value!

I’ve been taking these (1 tablet daily) for over a month in place of the brand of iodine that I normally use to help support my thyroid and overall wellness—Especially because I only consume non Iodionized salt. I don’t notice any difference, positive or negative in how they make me feel. They don’t cause me indigestion or nausea. They are much more affordable than my other brand so I already purchased another bottle. They came quality sealed, with clear labeling, instructions for use, and plenty of shelf life remaining. They claim to be gluten free, non GMO and 3rd party tested, which are all great. I’d like to see a certificate posted on the listing from this lab testing including tests that show it’s free from heavy metals. Excellent products require excellent transparency.

I can’t list any reasons why due to guidelines, but I am happy to be trying out this supplement. I haven’t had any adverse effects. And it isn’t difficult to swallow for me. I also didn’t taste any aftertaste. So far I am happy to be giving this one a chance.

I hope I never have the need to protect my thyroid from absorbing radioactive waste. But with the world under constant threat of some unforeseen nuclear accident, I wanted to have a product on hand and ready to use. Even without the threat of radiation poisoning, these 325 mcg Iodine tablets from Type Zero provide a vital nutrient for my thyroid health, and this is something I definitely need.

I ordered the Type Zero clean Iodine tablets to take as a supplement as I have been using sea salt on my food over the last couple of years and no longer used the iodine infused table salt that I grew up using. I figured that I eat good variety of food with natural iodine in it, but I wanted to make sure that I was getting enough iodine as I am now in my late 60’s and wanted to start supplementing my diet. The tablets don’t seem to have any aftertaste and are easy to swallow.
