The soap itself is nice to use. It creates a rich, creamy lather that feels incredibly indulgent. My skin is left feeling soft, smooth, and nourished, without any dryness or tightness. It’s like giving my skin a spa-like treatment every time I shower.
I’m also impressed with the size of the soap bar. It feels substantial and luxurious in my hands, and I have a feeling it will last quite a while. However, you are paying $12 per bar (as of now), which is a bit substantial, price-wise. The packaging is equally appealing, making it a beautiful addition to any bathroom decor.

This soap is different from other kojic acid soaps I have used. It has a translucent appearance with chunks (ginger root?) inside. It is free from sulfates, parabens and silicone. But I cannot find the kojic acid in the ingredients list:

I looked up possible pseudonyms, which include 5-Hydroxy-2-(hydroxymethyl)-4-pyrone, but since the box is calling it kojic acid turmeric, I would think that would be the listing. Maybe I’m missing something.
The scent is strong and medicinal, like an astringent. Hopefully that won’t keep my teen from trying it. It is supposed to be good for acne and the associated skin coloring. To me, $13 is a bit expensive for one bar of soap. I do like the sunflower shape and it’s a decent size. Arrived in a plastic coated paper bag inside a paper box.

This turmeric soap arrived in an odd form, not sure if it’s to be a “natural” shape or if it melted. If it’s the latter, it also created an interesting color striation appearance. Also, it was wrapped within the box which kept the soap from leaking outside the box which was good. It has a strong turmeric odor which is to be expected, with undertones of ginger.
It’s a decent size for supposedly being travel size, and lathers up well/easily. This soap helps (doesn’t cure) with acne for us – can’t quite tell for the dark spots or discoloration, but that’s a bonus if that happens for others.
Customer Review –
I found the scent of this soap to be way too strong and chemical-like, so much so that I cannot continue to use it. For $13, I think it’s a little overpriced for a single bar of soap. I’m also not entirely crazy about some of the other less natural ingredients contained in this soap. These issues are the reason for a 2-star reduction.
The soap does lather well and should last a good while.
Diverse Goods –
I love a good skincare product, so when I saw the ingredients, I had to try. For reference, I do not wear makeup but I am older and have some dark spots and an my skin tone and texture has changed and become duller and drier. The soap is wonderful and better than expected, especially how nice it makes my skin feel and the smell. My skin feels soft, clean, and more hydrated and the dark spots seem to be evening out. I would recommend to a friend.

This soap bar is so pretty out of the package. I wasn’t overly impressed with the smell and unlike other reviews I actually thought it didn’t smell much at all. I have used kojic acid soap before and I love the smell of it but this was a little underwhelming. It was soft on my skin and exfoliated well, leaving my skin hydrated and clean. It is definitely better than what I normally buy at the store, I just wish the smell were a bit different.
