    I have used this on my neck and arm pits and I do think it evens out the skin and gets rid of dark spots over time

    This soap smells good enough to eat. It lathers great and smells like fresh oranges. The lather is thick and rich . I will definitely be buying more of this soap!

    Luminance Naturals – Turmeric and Kojic Acid Soap (2pack)

    The soap felt nice, and left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. It has a nice scent but …
    Unfortunately the fragrance is too much for me, and clinging. After using it my skin retains the scent even after washings with other soap. For me, this is a huge issue and usually renders a product un-usable.
    But this soap feels so nice that I am going to try to only use it on my legs, using only a wash cloth so the scent does not cling to my hands.

    I cannot say how well it works for dark spots because I was unable to continue use on my face and hands. I am giving it 4 stars because of how the soap made my skin feel.

    This arrived from the vendor shrink wrap tamper evident sealed in a sturdy branded box. There was a prominent best by date “06/2027” clearly printed on the bottom of the box.

    This has a very compelling smell that smells sort of fruity to me.

    The soap bars are a bit small compared to typical, but there are 2 in the package & they give you little porous bags you can put the soap in, which I’d never done before, & it is helpful to lather up & then not have the soap as slippery when you sit it down.

    I would have preferred the soaps be in individual containers not 2 inside 1 container.

    I’m not sure about removing any spots but it is a pleasant wash & I did not seem to get any skin irritation or itching afterwards. It did not dry out my skin or leave any soap residue. Any other effects could take more than 2 bars to determine, & they only provided the 2 soap bars.

    For the retail price, this is a reach for me, it’s not doing anything for me more affordable soaps already accomplish. These would make a nice gift that is unusual for many people into skin products and it is packaged cute & well tamper sealed — but for myself — I’d not order it again as it doesn’t seem a very good value & I wouldn’t spend the extra money for a cute box & a bag to cover over my soap.

    These LUMINANCE NATURALS Turmeric and Kojic Acid Soap bars are a little over 3.5 oz per bar, which is on the smaller side—not nearly as large as the pictures make it look! I personally prefer a larger bar. They cleanse well, although I’m not sure about the brightening since it hasn’t been long enough to tell. I am also curious about the source of the collagen, since it claims to be a vegan product. It seems like most vegan products I’ve used that mention collagen just have collagen boosting ingredients rather than collagen itself. But maybe there is a yeast or bacteria source for this collagen, or it could be man-made?
