I think this is a great concept except this particular modem doesn’t stay cold. After we take it out of the freezer, it’s pretty worthless after about 10 minutes. I bought two of these for my son to use during baseball and thought he could use it in the dugout, but it’s been disappointing. Wish I would’ve just got a cooling towel instead.

I recently purchased one of these neck coolers and want to get a second one so I can always have one cooling and at the ready in our hot humid weather. I wore it running errands and in a small meeting space that was not well airconditioned and it worked well for about 2 hrs. It is comfortable to wear and will be prefect for walking and yard work and taking to the beach or lake. Also I can see myself wearing this kayaking and powerboating. I thought I would need to keep in a freezer, but it gets cold enough with just refrigeration so even a cooler with ice or freezer bars should work fine to reactivate it. Smaller profile and lighter weight than the battery operated neck fans I have seen others using. Kept me cool and comfortable.

I really like the product and when you put it on it definitely cools you down (over 100 degrees heat index the past two weeks) but it doesn’t seem to last as long as I would like. That could be due to the excessive heat outside. I would purchase again, must another one or two to cover the time that I’m outside.

I don’t tolerate heat well and this has been a life saver. It’s inexpensive, freezes really quickly, and stays cold for a while. It does a great job of cooling you down even in the worst heat. I’ve been using it a couple times a day most days for months, and it’s holding up great. I haven’t tried freezing it in cool water only because I’ve always had the freezer available to use, but it does freeze very fast. I kept the bag it came in to put it in the freezer so it doesn’t absorb any smells.
Tip: make sure you don’t squish it when you put it in the freezer or you’ll have to let it thaw a bit to put it on your neck. It’s still a bit flexible when frozen but I don’t think it would be good for it to try to bend it too far when it’s frozen.
If you’re always hot or intolerant to the heat, I highly recommend grabbing one of these.

Good thing is this freezes back up quick. Used for a hot tourney at the ball field. The coldness didn’t last as long as I expected it to. May have been too hot.

In concept this item is great, and it does stay “solid” for about 45 minutes or so in the heat. It is helpful for a short period of time, but does not have the longevity I was hoping for.
Whatever the chemical is inside of it, holds its solid form for longer than water… but doesn’t necessarily hold onto the cold that water does. So, though it looks “frozen” and is solid, it is not terribly cold. It is cooler than the air outside, which is nice, but not as impactful as I would like. I am glad I bought one to try out before I bought them for my entire family. I will keep exploring other options for our summer trip to Disney.

I bought two and I wear them both to work. Even in the afternoon heat when it was 114 and the hot wind was blowing my body temperature stayed cool enough that I was not sweating. I only have to get to the train platform so these are not going to keep you cool for hours in a hot day. I could feel the heat on my skin but not internally. I also wear one to bed if I am feeling warm and I can rotate them during the night. They work great for my commute and sleep comfort but these will not keep you cool for hours in the heat. They are also small and made for smaller necks so if you are a man these probably will not fit. I have been using them for several months and they are holding up well with no leakage or smell.

Originally saw on Tiktok shop and bought on Amazon. Bought this to send to my husband while overseas to help keep him cool in the heat. It worked amazingly well! Super easy to use, just throw in the fridge/freezer and then put around your neck, instant cool. Fits comfortably and doesn’t pinch. No leaking noticed and it was a great price for the item. Would buy again.
