This neck ring is way more comfortable than I expected it to be. It is soft and somewhat pliable though it does keep its shape around your neck so there isn’t a way to adjust it closer to your skin if needed. It feels cool at room temperature though would warm up fairly fast if that’s the way you use it. I prefer it in the fridge so it’s not frozen when I put it on but cool enough to cool me down. I ordered this specifically for my kids when they’re playing sports on hot days or nights. A great product to have on hand and can throw into a cooler and keep with you for when needed.

This is a really great neck cooling ring if you need to cool down quickly. At first, even though I only freeze this in the refrigerator and not the freezer, it feels like I have an ice cube on the back of my neck. Great for a really hot summer day. Later, after part of it thaws, It is very cool but not that intense coldness of an ice cube that’s almost too cold. I have timed my neck ring and when the ambient temperature is in the low 80°s F, part of it can stay frozen for over an hour. It’s still cool enough to be useful at that point. It’s very well made and, although you should use some care with any of the cooling neck rings like this, it seems like it will last a long time and the seams shouldn’t cause problems. I have a few rings like this now and I do very much appreciate that these come in different sizes because I hate feeling anything at the front of my neck. I have a larger neck and this one doesn’t bother me.

The heat waves have been brutal this summer. It has even been hot in the early mornings. I got this gel cooling neck ring to wear while doing yardwork. It’s cool (pun intended) that it actually freezes in the fridge. When not frozen, it’s flexible, but when frozen, it’s stiff. It feels cold on my neck, but not painfully cold like ice would feel. It doesn’t weigh much and is comfortable to wear. I have a small neck, but I ordered a large because I don’t like tight things. I’m glad I got the large. It stays cool for about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how hot it is.

I’m always looking for products to help keep me cool in the summer, and it’s been a hot one so far this year. This cooling neck ring is perfect to use when waking outside on a hot summer day. The ring is comfortable around my neck, but I wish it was slightly more contoured to the curves of my neck. It’s horseshoe shaped, so sticks out a bit in front. It would be nice if it was flat on the inside of the ring and if the ends bent downward so it could lay flat against your collar bones. It stays cold about 15-20 minutes. It definitely takes a lot longer than the advertised 23 minutes in the freezer to get cold enough to be useful.

This neck cooling tube really gets you cooled off or keeps you cooler than even the fancy neck fans because it starts out cool instead of just blowing you with hot air. It is easy to freeze and easy to put on. It doesn’t drip when it thaws like fabric neck coolers do. It is easy to put on and you can wear more than one at a time. This is a simple invention that really works well. It great when working outside, or just cooling off afterwards. Good for festivals or other outside activities. Throw it in the cooler to rechill and put it on again. This is a great item that you don’t have to charge up. Grab a couple…they are worth it. This is a great buy!

These neck cooling tubes are the coolest new product I’ve tried this summer! They’re so useful for cooling down in hot weather!
You put this in the freezer for 20 minutes (though you could also do the fridge or even cold water will work) and it will freeze up at 18c or 64F. You can then put it on your neck to cool down or stay cool. It’s awesome! Despite the fact that it’s frozen, it’s not too cold to put directly on your skin. And it doesn’t sweat either! It just cools you off. I wore this one inside on a hot day and it kept cool for an hour. If you were out in the sun, that may only be 20 to 30 minutes. But that’s why I like to have a few of these on hand so I can keep swapping them out and refreezing them to swap out again. This one is the large size which I think would work well on anyone’s neck, female or male. Really great item for hot days!

The Mottace Neck Cooling Tube is really an improvement over previous cooling tubes I’ve tried. The extra gel makes a difference. It feels cooler, and holds its temperature longer. How long it feels cool will depend on the temperature of the environment you’re in, of course. You don’t really need to use a freezer either, the gel in the tube “freezes” at 64 degrees F. So just pop it in the fridge for 30 minutes, or in ice water for 15 minutes. I keep mine in the fridge when I’m not using it, so it’s always ready.
Another nice feature, the tube is florescent, it glows in the dark. If you’re running at night, though, I’d still suggest you wear other reflective clothing, and of course, never go running alone at night.

Works really well. And re-chills fairly quickly in my cooler filled with ice water. Does a lit better than the cooling towels for me. Those work on evaporation and in Florida it is so humid there really isn’t much evap happening.
This tube is larger than others I’ve tried in the past and seems to last about twice as long.
