It’s pretty good does the job of protecting a skin tan ( although putting it on own back is obviously impossible – otherwise its great and works just a bit costly so unless it’s for a necessary coverage against chlorine for health reasons and not “ tan vanity “ it’s a lot to maintain monthly . But it’s a good product ( though we have no choice as seems it’s THE ONLY product of this type anyway to choose from lol . But if budget can cope yes I’d recommend it .

Started a weight loss journey and the only exercise I could tolerate was swimming. I found the chemicals in the pool were making me itchy or feel like I had a rash. First time I used this, I got instant results. You don’t need much, a little goes a long way. It has a mild smell, but it’s tolerable.

This is the absolute best lotion for post-swim I’ve ever used in 30 years of swimming daily! I also use much less than with others- it must be more concentrated?!

This helps with the chlorine smell, but my skin is still tight and inches. I found the TRIHARD body wash does a much better job and would recommend you try that if the lotion is not enough.

This lotion, if put on before and after swimming, really helps with dry skin and itching. It does not feel slimy.

I swim at least twice a week and the chlorine has been taking a toll on my skin and hair.
I’ve been looking for a solution for a while now and have been trying many other products and home remedies. None of them were effective enough.
I am now using the entire Trihard collection and am hooked! The body lotion is my favorite product because I can also use it BEFORE my swim. This really puts up a barrier on my skin, avoiding chlorine absorption. Post swim, I just need to apply a small amount of the lotion and my skin ends up feeling baby smooth! And the best part is that it smells really good (it’s very fresh with a sweet note, but not overpowering) and gets rid of every last bit of chlorine smells.
If you’re a swimmer and struggle with chlorine smell and post swim dryness, I really recommend this body lotion as well as all of trihard’s other products!

I have very sensitive skin and I’ve been using this product for about a week. Post-swim my skin does not feel itchy or dried out. The scent is nice, but seems a bit strong when first applied, hence only 4 stars. I try to be careful about where I use it (e.g. pool locker room vs outdoors) to avoid the scent being a trigger for those with sensitivities. Would definitely give 5 stars otherwise.

I am so glad that I found this product! It glides on so smoothly with just a little lotion. I can see that the application of this lotion before I swim repels chlorinated water from drying my skin. It is made to specifically make your skin waterproof, which if you have dry skin, you will find this is a GREAT product. I reorder this product every other month because I swim 4-5 days a week at the YMCA. You won’t be disappointed!

We were concerned one of our twin boys was having a reaction to the chlorine in our pool. We tried using this product on him. We are unsure if it actually works or not because his reaction was actually caused by the cold water not the chlorine. I gave it three stars because it is so expensive

A newbie swimmer here, enjoying the process of learning, loving the water, but not so much enjoying reeking of chlorine and feeling totally desiccated, even after two showers – one at the pool and another when I get home. I was starting to get an itchy rash on my lower legs and while I they were doing okay with my normal body lotion, I thought I’d give this Trihard stuff a go, even though I’m totally dubious about ‘specially formulated’ products with techie names on (often an excuse to charge an exorbitant price).
Well, this is actually really lovely stuff! I only got it today and have only put it on my arms and legs so far, but they feel sooo silky smooth. I can’t quite put my finger on what the fragrance is, but it’s pleasant and fresh and not overpowering and, hey presto, I don’t smell like a chemical plant.
The only negative thing I’d say about it is that, as someone who is now going to the pool 4 times a week, I imagine I’ll use this 100ml tube up pretty quickly. It’s just about the size of an average tube of hand cream, when the ideal size for me would be about a litre, I reckon, LOL! It could get very pricey pretty quickly if I were to use it all over my body, and I’m not inclined to put it on pre-swim as the tube suggests, only for it to be washed down the shower drain! Perhaps I’ll just use it on my extremities and use my everyday lotion on the rest of my body. Anyway. It’s good moisturiser and I’m glad I decided to splash out on it, if you’ll pardon the pun.
Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention… the box comes with two samples – one of the hair condition and one of the body wash. Both also very nice indeed. I only used a tiny squeeze of the body wash and it created a lovely creamy lather with a bit of a eucalyptus tingle, I think, guessing by the fragrance. I’ll be adding the whole range to my shopping list, I think. Quality stuff and it certainly seems to do what it says on the tin.
Now, if only I could find a solution to ‘goggle eyes’…
