I have been using Rid-X in my septic system regularly for years. When we had the septic pumped for maintenance purposes, the technician said that the Rid-X we put in it every month is working great and to not change what we are doing. That tells me this is a great product and we will keep buying-and it’s easy to remember to use it when its on your subscribe and save order!

This product functions very well for what it is to be used for. You do need to follow the instructions provided by putting it in the toilet monthly. The seal is great. There was no leakage of the product. The smell is a little strong but not too bad. It took two times of use for this to work every time. I have lots of lime in the water so it made the speed a little slower. The value for the money is about average. If you don’t have lime in your water this product will be effective.

Can’t really give 5 stars because I have no way of knowing if it’s really doing what it claims. I k ow a LOT of people use the stuff. My septic guy says no additive you can put down there does anything, but he stands to benefit if it doesn’t so who knows.
