I never write reviews but I am compelled to leave a warning for this. This is a dangerous product with inaccurate dosing instructions. I have been taking various magnesium supplements for leg cramps, sleep aid and motility for 5+ years and never had any issues. I took a half-dose of this for a week with no noticeable benefits or adverse affects. Last night I decided to take a full dose with a full glass of water right before bed. Woke up 4 hrs later with my blood pressure dangerously low and a splitting headache, nausea and dizziness that would not subside with tylenol. I had noticed some reviews talking about similar adverse heart effects on the Trace Minerals Mega Mag product, but figured I’d try this magnesium product based on a recommendation. I would not recommend at all.

This product is very expensive in the stores. The liquid is an awesome product for absorbency. One thing I learned in the store is the first time you take it, only take a little. Otherwise it will act as a laxative (good advice). Work your way up to your regular dosage. It helps you sleep like a new born baby and is so good for your body, muscles cramps. We don’t get enough of this is our daily diets and the pills are HUGE. I like this particular liquid because it actually has a nice flavor-really 🙂

I have been using this liquid magnesium for about 1 month and it’s ok. The flavor is fine, but has a chalky after taste. I haven’t noticed any major changes since taking it. I probably will not repurchase.

I put this in my water bottles throughout the day, not exceeding the recommended dose. The tangerine adds a little sweetness

It has to be refrigerated once open, but not before, and lasts well over a month with daily use. You shake well, mix a tsp of it in a bit of water, and chug it. The taste is a little pepperminty. Shake it well each time, otherwise you end up with a cake of magnesium at the bottom at the end. It is not travel-friendly, but I can go away for weeklong trips and leave it at home. My only real gripe is that you have to cut a hole in the safety cover under the lid to pour it out, it would be nice to have something built in to make that less messy.

Of all the magnesium supplements I’ve tried, pill and liquid, this has been the best. I’m not a fan of sweet flavored things so it took me a bit to adjust to the tangerine flavor, but now I look forward to it every morning. I feel like it’s helped my digestion better than other products I’ve tried. I’m on bottle 2 now and do recommend it. Make sure you really do shake it vigorously otherwise it’ll settle at the bottom. Trace Minerals also recommended it coming to room temperature before taking it for better absorption. Their customer service is fantastic!

I like using this product, however the last bottle I bought the magnesium was like concrete in the bottom of the bottle and was rather difficult to find something to get it mixed into the liquid. That I absolutely did not appreciate. It came in a white bottle this last time where every purchase before was in a blue bottle, not that the color of the bottle means anything, but it was the only other thing that was different. In the future I would appreciate a fresher product that has not been sitting so long it won’t mix with shaking it.

I started taking liquid magnesium for better sleep, but the benefits didn’t stop there. I have better digestion, more energy during the day and my blood pressure is slightly lower. The taste is good too. It is chalky like a liquid TUMS. I keep mine in the refrigerator.
