I’ve been purchasing Concentrace minerals (their liquid drop version) since 2013, so I can speak to the quality and brand. We have a reverse osmosis water system, and one of the downsides is it removes the minerals, along with all of the ‘bad’ stuff from your tap water. It’s imperative you supplement with trace minerals if you too have RO water, as it can have long term effects on both your health, and your teeth. I had no idea Concentrace even came in a pill form, so I jumped at the chance to review these.
These aren’t large horse pills, are incredibly easy to swallow, and are perfect for traveling if your don’t want to carry the liquid drops.

These capsules are easy enough to take. The directions say to take three capsules. Since they are trace minerals I think I’m just gonna take one a day or maybe one at night and one in the morning.
In smelling the bottle, they sort of smell fruity. Like some kind of fruit. Not like a sweet fruit. In popping it in my mouth it has a slight flavor to it as well. Sort of fruity but like an odd fruit. It’s very slight and it’s not terrible. Once you add water and swallow it’s fine and there’s no aftertaste.
They are nice and slippery capsules so they go down very easily – at least for me although they are a bit larger. The capsules are kind of neat because if you look at them they look like they have tiny balls inside which is very interesting as most things are powder these days. So again very easy to take. I also really like the trace minerals brand as I have had plenty of their other products. I like that this is clearly marked vegan as well. Just another reason I really like this brand.

I was initially put off of these by the addition of carnauba wax since I didn’t know a lot about carnauba wax and wasn’t thrilled that it was an addition to the trace minerals. From what I have researched on the internet, though, not only do we regularly consume carnauba wax in many other foods, but it appears totally harmless which made me feel a lot better about trying these out.
The biggest difference I can tell while taking these is that I seem to have more stamina and energy while exercising, hiking, walking, etc. That could be purely psychological but I usually try to take salt and potassium tablets while exercising and adding these to my daily regimen makes me feel even more energy. I usually use Himalayan salt and shilajit for trace minerals and I don’t know how the chemical analysis would compare on these but I feel like this may add another dimension and not just be duplicating what I am already taking. It would be interesting to see an actual analysis to be sure of what exact trace minerals are in each.
I feel like these are especially beneficial during the hot summer months while I am sweating more. I wouldn’t recommend ever using them instead of salt capsules and electrolytes but they are a nice addition.
I love that these are quality manufactured and third party tested by a reputable company! Thats especially important to me when taking any supplement.

I’ve never been more convinced of the necessity of electrolyte replacement. Overconsumption of water, beverages with caffeine, being under-hydrated plays a huge role in cognition, mood, etc. Trace Minerals has put out quality supplements for some time, this being another. This is far better than drinking Gatorade with a bunch of sugar and only minimal amounts of potassium – as if this was the only electrolyte needed in the body. I’ve been annoyed for some time, with relatives on diuretics, doctors typically only prescribe potassium. Any diuretic, whether water or beer or caffeinated drinks, takes more than just potassium out of the body – that’s why your pee is yellow. You need to put back more than potassium, and this is a great way to do so.
As an aside, I’ve become somewhat convinced that the experience of dry mouth, for many of us, is the body signaling not just the loss of water but electrolytes. Many times I’ve experienced dry mouth after drinking a lot of water. I think it’s the body’s way of saying, “You’ve diluted down your minerals too far,” at least some of the time.

I don’t seem to have the same effects as I do with the liquid. The capsules do not have a taste that I noticed and I do not have a problem swallowing pills. The liquid has such a strong taste, so that is why I decided to try the capsules, but have noticed that the effects are not the same. Will be going back to the liquid when these are gone.

I have tried these before … I realized after I saw the capsules.
I mixed them in with other vitamins in my vitamin container and they seem to “eat” through other vitamins, or did other vitamins eat through them? I know it was messy and this one was always part of the mess. And I could isolate it and not have any problems at all. So, just don’t mix with other vitamins

I have been taking Trace Minerals Liquid Supplement for years now. I find it to be one of the best available. I was sent some of these Capsule Versions for review. I can say that like the liquid version they are very good. I am glad to see a capsule available. These can be more convenient for a lot of people. I especially like these for the magnesium supplementation. It is a low sodium sourced from the Seas mineral complex. 5 stars.
