Reviewing: Salicylic Acid BHA Arbutin Facial Toner – 5.41 FL.OZ
I’ve been using this toner twice a day for a couple weeks now and love the quality and ingredients of it. My skin type is normal, but acne prone, other skin types and factors may have a different experience than mine.
The toner is a milky white, odorless liquid. To use, I apply it twice a day after I’ve washed my face and everything’s dry. I squeeze a few drops onto a cotton pad and pat it onto my entire face and neck area, wait a couple minutes for it to completely absorb, and continue with the rest of my skin care routine. Sometimes I’ll change things and apply the toner using a light therapy facial massager so my skin better absorbs the ingredients. Either application works well, doesn’t leave any sticky or tacky residue, and takes 3 minutes or less to completely dry. The toner feels very cleansing and hydrating to use, my skin hasn’t shown any negative reactions or discomfort from it.
This product is a really good value (at time of writing) for the amount of product you get and the quality of the toner.

Despite its name, APLB Salicylic Acid BHA Arbutin Facial Toner contains just 0.01% salicylic acid, which might not be the most effective concentration for treating blemish-prone skin. However, I appreciate the toner’s ability to soothe without stripping, thanks to the 13.5% Centella Asiatica extract. There’s a visible reduction in my skin redness.

I have seen products with lower percentages and it never really helped me out. After just ONE use of this, I felt that my skin was less oily and smoother feeling than before. I am planning to buy more but can already see the difference after a few days.

I use this toner on a daily basis, even though I have a stronger combination of BHA and AHA acids I use twice a week.
This toner is very gentle on my skin while being effective in reducing any irritation I’ve been having due to the dry and warm indoor air (in addition to the dry and cold wind during outside walks in the wintertime).
I appreciate that the toner doesn’t have any added fragrances, as I have a sensitive nose and can be easily triggered by scents in my skincare products.
I’ve felt no stinging or experienced any redness after applying this toner, and it soaks quickly into my skin after about a minute. My face is noticeably more hydrated after using it, making it a great addition to my current hydration and moisturization routine.

I’ve been using this about 5 times a week for a couple of months. It really works and it works well. This is such a delicate product. It has never irritated my skin. It has great exfoliation abilities. My skin has been purging so much since using this. There’s no smell at all. It doesn’t dry my skin out. It pairs well with all of my other products. It’s super lightweight. It’s a wonderful product.

I got it because of the “brightening” aspect for it and for the other things it said it does. But i haven’t really seen much improvement since i been using it. I want to give this a 5 star review but I’ll come back if anything changes. I only bought the toner not the rest of the products it comes with so maybe thats why? But i was only shopping around for a toner for my skin care routine as it was the last product i needed and this one caught my eye. I mean i like that it’s not harsh or anything but i don’t know I’m not really a fan. I’ll continue to use it though as I’m still hopeful.
